Can't overlook these guys. I hope we can preserve Kent tonight and keep him to around 25 mins with Jenkins getting a good chunk of mins too. We'll really need Baze for New Orleans in a couple days if Thabo and Carroll are still out.

^ agreed. I really thought JJ was going to get a lot of minutes after Thabo went down last night but he only got 4-5 total. I want to see jenkins get 10-15 minutes for at least one game this season. Maybe that will happen tonight.

Check craigslist Atlanta. Sometimes people will post they are selling tickets at last minute on game days and you can get them cheaper that way.

Philly really does force you to play an ugly game with them. Teague looks awful tonight.

Old man Nique better recognize. Just 'cause we suck doesn't mean we don't play hard and challenge teams.

I don't want to complain, i don't want to criticize, I'm just happy that the Hawks squeaked out a win in this one, and we can just put this game behind us and prepare for the next game.

Another insanely efficient shooting night for Korver, but Horford is the player of the game. I love the rebounding and he put up 23 points on a good shooting percentage. Horford was just bullying everybody in the post and really made everything look effortless.

Dennis had a "good game". I have no problem with him being a ball stopping, attacking point with the bench unit, but when he spent so much time with the starters and not swinging the ball, it was hurting us.

Sixers just went unconscious going 13-17 from 3 in just the 2nd half. There's no such thing as an easy game in the NBA, everyone's a professional payed athlete that probably dominated his playground before getting here. Great game by the sixers, and a great win.

This is the most successful month for any NBA team ever, no team has ever gone 17-0 in a month.

Big time game from AL Horford. Dude is on pace with his last comeback after torn pec. I expect an even more impressive February from him.

Dennis is a rising star, baby. A big, bright shining star. This kid is the future of the franchise. He's ready, IMO, to take the reigns over of this team. For now, I love seeing him play the role of backup.

JJ2 showing that he does indeed belong in this league. Boggles the mind we had this resource gathering dust all season. Don't know that he can salvage his Hawks career. But he should at least get some offers this summer from other squads in need of an off-guard to put up efficient points.

How was JJ's defense tonight fellas? Did he at least appear to be putting in the effort?

Return to Atlanta Hawks
