Worst start to a game I've ever seen from Atlanta. They've hit 10 straight shots and they know EVERYTHING that we'll do on offense before we do it.

And that is why anyone who says we don't need bigs I just dont understand.
60 POINTS IN THE PAINT. Tiago splitter absolutely feasted on Millsap, pero and horford.
Kwahi made Carroll look like he weighed 110lbs.
Every player was just bigger, stronger, and more assertive.
I dont know what is up with Horford. He had PARKER on him and he just held the ball .
The spurs knew the mismatches and exploited it EVERYTIME.

Let's just accept that the Spurs are better and always will be.

This was one of those games where everytime we came out with a punch they would come back with two punches. The most alarming thing during this 3 game losing streak is the points in the paint. GSW,OKC, and now SAS have had a feast in the paint against us. This team needs to get back to playing like the 19 game win streak Hawks if they expect to get out of the first round of the playoffs. I'm not sure that's a given anymore with the way we have been playing lately.

Just my 2 cents.. But watching Hawks really remind me of this Spurs team.. But just missing a "Splitter". Millsap is basically our Diaw. Antic is our Bonner. Horford is Duncan. There's no Splitter clone in Atlanta. And you kinda need the size that a legit big man can give. Atlanta is way too small today and it showed big time.

Im not scared about getting out of the 1st round
But all this talk 2 months ago about FINALS and not being scared of the Cavs and counting regular season wins.................
The hawks are who they are, they can play incredibly well with limited talent if all things are firing on all cylinders. They need Teague PNRing and penatrating. They need AH getting 15 foot elbow jumpers, they need screen for KK to hit and come off, they need Carroll to play well and lock down their wing player. If any of those things isnt happening they look god awful.

The weakpoint for this team has ALWAYS been a lack of big men who play in the paint
