I'd wish you guys luck but we are the ones who are going to need it. you guys are a nightmare matchupf or us. you nuetralize all our strengths and exploit all our weaknesses. I see this as hawks in 4 or 5 games.

I struggle to see how the nets will win. all i can come up with is if we dominate the offensive glass and get your bigs in foul trouble which in turn allows us not to have to helo with a wing to impede the rolling bigs as often and take away some of those wide open 3 point looks. We also need role guys to have big games. Thad, Bogs, and plumlee need to play great, not good, not solid but great.

heres to hopeffully at least 4 or 5 competitive games even if the series is short

First, congrats on the playoffs. I know the media wanted a rematch of Indy vs Hawks but I think people are under rating the storybook line of joe Johnson returning to Atlanta.

I think Brooklyn's biggest problem is that they have absolutely no answer for our 1-5 pick and roll(s) (and to be fair not a lot of teams do). We run that thing to absolute perfection and it works extremly well but against the nets it's like "working well" on steroids. So if Hollins can come up with a gameplan to defend our 1-5 pick and roll then I like yalls chances of stealing a game, MAYBE 2 games if JJ, Lopez, or D-Will play the game of their life.

Realistically though, I see us sweeping and at worst we win in game 5.

Loved the video. I couldn't help but laugh at Chris Broussard's quote. It's scary how much he wants LeBron's you know what.....Bron's wife needs to tell Chris to back the hell off.

I'm so sick of broufraud...can't believe ESPN/SportsCenter actually gives that dude air time on television. I feel like I could give out more useful NBA knowledge than him.

yeah, today he said he would take the Nets over the Hawks if you just looked at the rosters of the two teams. Guy is a LeBron fanboy that bashes the Hawks every chance he gets. That tells me he feels threatened by our chances of beating his boyfriend if we meet up.

Let's go Baby! We proved everything beat everybody they said we couldn't beat in the regular season. Now they still doubting us, lot of skeptical people out there doubting the Hawks! Now it's time to turn up again, and show the basketball world that we got the #1 seed in the East for a reason, not a fluke.

Honestly after the Hawks beat up on everybody, they coasted to end the regular season because there was nothing else to prove. Now it's playoff time, and that chip is squarely back on the Hawks shoulder, as well as the urgency.

This is what we've all been waiting for, let's do this!

Yea it's one of the only things that suck about the playoffs. If it were up to me id have every game in the series with one day's worth of rest in between each game

Great video, and admit it gave me goose bumps.
If the team plays with the same intensity than in this video, it will be fun to watch these playoffs games ;-)

Way back in the 1990s...that's EXACTLY how it was.

Five game series played out in less than 11 days. And multiple games on at once...just like the first day of the NCAA tourney. A hoop junkie's dream.

They are scared for the games to overlap during the week, since no games would be on early like the weekends.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

...so guess I am not the only one a bit concerned...concerned is a strong word...i guess cautious in this matchup.

1: They seemed to discover that Demare can't guard Joe in the post. I am guessing we just wont double team again like last game and let Joe get his instead of scrambling defensively but that revelation bothers me.

2: I don't like seeing a tram this many times in such a short window. That gives them way too much familiarity

I still think we win in 5 but I am uneasy until I see us hold home court and take a game in Barclays.

Try not to over think it.

ITs the Nets, theres a reason they barely got in the playoffs. If JJ wants to go off, let him. They cant stop us anywhere else on the floor. The only shot Brook has is if Deron Williams decides to be 25/10 guy and JJ shares the ball and drops 20 a night.

That is NOT their MO.

They will be lucky to win 1 game. They have star names from years past, they are not 1/10th the team the Hawks are. IF they give the Hawks problems, that shows that the Hawks are a fraud, not the other way around. I just dont think you win 60 games on accident.
