How good can Dennis Schr

Hey Hawks fans,

I feel like Dennis Schröder has the potential to be an all-star point-guard and might be better than Teague already.

Check it out:
Dennis Shroder at the age of 21 is averaging 14.1ppg, 7.7apg, and 3.4rpg as a starter
Jeff Teague at the age of 27 is averaging 15.9ppg 7apg and 2.5rpg

His shooting %s are already rapidly improving.
Nov.: 22.2%
Dec: 18.2%
Jan: 41.7%
Feb: 47.8%
Mar: 36.8%

How good can Dennis Shroder be? Does he have the potential to average 18ppg and 10apg? What do you guys think?

18/10, ya maybe, but i really don't care about that. What Dennis should work on or focus on is .500FG% , .380 3FG%, and a 3 to 1 assist to turn over ratio.

I don't think Dennis is a perennial All-Stars, i think he is an occasional All-Star, were he will make two or three All-Stars in his career. Kind of like the Celtic version of Dennis Johnson. Solid all around point guard who can make key plays at the end of games.

Could be a top 5 PG with his growth rate and potential or he could be nearly as good as Jeff Teague if he improves at normal rates. It's all on him.

I don't think he is going to better than Teague...a step below him.

We have had this argument here before. I still say his vision/playmaking ability is horrid, but he has the potential to be a very efficient scorer. I don't see "Starter on a winning team" potential in Dennis. I do see 6th man on a winning team potential.

I still think what holds him back is above the neck and that generally doesn't change with more money and playing time. But it seems most people here are ready to dump Teague so I am probably going to be the only detractor. But he was clearly the worse rotation player this year in the playoffs. If he can't perform in playoff ball, idk what good he will be.

19/3,5/8 and more mature so he can lead the german NT in the future with Pleis, Kleber, Theis and a decent SG

He needs to continue working on his shooting and he needs more upper body strength. The good news is that it looks like he's been spending hours in the gym working on his jumpshot with Kyle Korver helping him out.

One of the best nba PGs.
He has incredible innate pick'n'roll instincts.
