Hawks @ Pelicans

As they continue to look for their first win of the 2015-2016 season, the New Orleans Pelicans surely would have like to see someone besides the Atlanta Hawks strolling into New Orleans. Atlanta, who finished atop the Eastern Conference last season with 60 wins is already off to a hot start at 5-1 and they have done it without really finding their grove offensively yet, as they sit just 14th in the league in offensive efficiency.
Atlanta enters the game off a win in Brooklyn on Wednesday, where they dominated the fourth quarter on the way to a double-digit margin of victory. Dennis Schroder poured in 20 points to compliment a 21 point, eight rebound, four assist, two block effort from Al Horford to help Atlanta roll
HereMatchups:
Outside of Davis, the Hawks will need to account for the sharpshooting tandem of SG Eric Gordon and PF Ryan Anderson, both of whom can stretch the floor with their strong outside shots. This game also will feature a matchup of brothers as Hawks wing Justin Holiday will get to play his older brother Jrue Holiday tonight.

Hawks are favored to win by 3 points.
The Hornets are seeking their first win so hopefully we won't provide them with their first victory tonight.
GO HAWKS!!!

Damn AD is a long dude. Yeah don't wanna give a struggling team confidence. This is our first playoff team from last season they've faced.

GO HAWKS!!!
Remember last year they stopped our 19 game winning streak in that same building. Pelicans not Hornets by the way.

Glad we're catching these guys twice (once next week too) in the early season, while they're adjusting to a new coach and still trying to figure it out.
I think Korver is sitting out this one, and that Thabo will sit out tomorrow's match against Washington.

I think they were the ones who stopped our streak last season. A bit nervous for this game.

I agree.
It's nice to face them early on due to the exact reasons you mentioned.
Let's just get the win to seal the deal.
We face Washington tomorrow so hopefully we won't look past New Orleans tonight.

Korver is playing tonight, Thabo out. Will probably be vice versa tomorrow.
Can't say I disagree with the reasoning for saving Thabo for tomorrow, when we play two really good guards in Wall and Beal.

We need to stop giving up leads. Still, almost had 7 players in double figures and Korver had an amazing night.

Korver the sniper. 8-8, including the huge 3 after they had tied it.
But it is frustrating giving up big leads all the time. It was one of the things we were terrible at last year as well, never putting a team away and going for the jugular when the chance arose.

The Pelicans destroyed Dallas last night.
We host them tonight and we're favored to win by 13 points.
