Kent Bazemore will miss his second straight game with a right ankle sprain after the starting small forward was declared out for Wednesday’s game against the Kings on the team’s injury report.

It appears starting point guard Jeff Teague will miss his third straight game with a left ankle sprain. However, the team updated his status to questionable.

Seriously...has Dennis been that bad? Avg 9 assists vs 1.5 turnovers in Teague's absence. Here's hoping Cousins doesn't take a swipe at him. That dude has no self control...

Big shot by Millsap to ice the game. Horford had 1 board, let's correct that. With Teague and Baze out we needed to get off the snide heading to Cleveland. Really happy for the Hawks and the fans, they finally really support this franchise. On a dreary, rainy Wednesday night game against a lower echelon team they turned out nicely. No longer do you see embarrassing gaps of empty seats in the stands anymore. Before last year this game would have had 8 thousand fans and 10 thousand empty seats disguised as fans. Color me Impressed. :o

Good W. Cousins appeared to throw a dirty elbow at Al after he play was over, in the first quarter, but made minimal contact. Refs didn't see.

We needed this W going into Cleveland on Saturday.

RealGM wanted Teague to be castrated after he mushed Bjelica in the face, I wonder what their reaction to Cousins will be. My guess is they'd side with Cousins, during last year's playoffs the GB bestowed both Teague and Al the title of being dirty.

Looks like we absolutely made he right move re-signing Millsap over Carroll. Was obviously the right thing to do at the time, and is being justified now.

Dennis has been garbage. The stats are huge liars right now for him. whats even more amazing to me is that looking at Mack with the 2nd unit, if we had a more competent backup, I would probably bench Dennis all together or move him to the 2 since he is completely killing the offense and taking everyone else out of the game. The 2nd unit has looked completely different without Dennis out there over dribbling and playing 1-4 ball on a team predicated by its ball movement. I have never been and never will be impressed by "last resort" assist guys like Marbury, Westbrook and how Dennis is playing right now.

His defense has been horrendous. And not just the going under screens repeatedly letting point guards get open looks or when he is not doing that trying to play too close and getting blown by. He is out there making these weird rotations and handing off his man for no apparent reason. I honestly have no idea what he is doing, but he looks like he has regressed.

That said, so did Teague. I never would have guessed that our weak point this far in the season would be the PG position, but to me we looked to have improved everywhere except point guard play. Teague has had a few solid games, but so many lapses defensively and wild passes inside that he generally didn't make before and Dennis has just been bad. They both need to play better, but I have to say, with 2+ years in this system and still playing like this, I don't see Dennis as a starting guard on a good team.

Hopefully this is a early in the season thing and they get it together once they have a rotation locked down, but right now I am kinda frustrated.

A bit harsh but I have to agree on points. Dennis' worst moments is when he "runs" the offense like he's James Harden with 1/10th the talent. He pounds the ball for most of the clock looking for a straight sprint to the basket before giving the ball up to a teammate on a short clock and not a favorable scoring position. Turnovers in that situation won't go on his stat sheet but if the player manages to convert he gets a shiny dime though.

With Jeffrey I also agree, he's looked like he lost his mental sharpness on a lot of plays that he made look almost routine the previous year but most troubling with him so far is that he's gained a bit of Smooveitis. He's constantly jawing at the refs during live plays as you can tell that the bad play is weighing down his confidence.
