The Atlanta Hawks will face their Southeast Divisional rival in the Orlando Magic on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Atlanta (24-17) is in fourth place in the Eastern Conference after their win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night. The Hawks are a game ahead of the Miami Heat for the lead in the Southeast Division. The Atlanta Hawks have played .500 ball in their last 10 games (5-5).

Atlanta beat Orlando in their only meeting so far this season, a nail-biter down at the Amway Center in Central Florida, defeating the Magic 103-100.

Before the new year, the Orlando Magic were challenging the Atlanta Hawks for the Southeast Division lead. They have lost ground to Atlanta so far in 2016 and won't have Victor Oladipo for Monday's visit to the Hawks.

Evan Fournier is averaging 18.0 points and shooting 55.6 percent in his last three matchups against Atlanta.

Shot 60% from Field in 1st Quarter.

Had 0 offensive rebounds and 5 turnovers.

But held a 7 point lead as Millsap is up to his usual top notch play.

Oh well good pace, and keeping them at arm's length.

His Box Scores may not yet reflect it, but I'm becoming much more comfortable with Tiago in our rotation and very possibly as our starting Center next season.

Knowing how desperate ORL is to become a playoff team, and how much they need a PF...

I wonder if we could get the Magic to give up Nicholson, Fournier and Tobias for Millsap...

Hawks up 13 at the half shooting a robust 56%.

Tiago and Thabo getting it done off the bench.

Team has 14 assists vs 9 turnovers.

Millsap the leading scorer with 9. Bazemore is a game best +14 with Horford right behind.

Our bench has outscored their bench 26-12. Hell, our bench has as many points as their starters...

Great job by the squad bouncing back with back to back blowout wins. Next is a Western road-trip but against teams that aren't in the playoff picture. Would be great to win all 4 before the schedule gets tougher.
