We really shot ourselves in the foot, I mean really. So many turnovers. From 2:30 left in the third to 4:30 left in the fourth we scored 3 points. THREEE F'ING POINTS.
So many turnovers, sooo many missed FTs, and then after we somehow took the lead, Deandre Jordan ended up getting an uncontested dunk to give them the lead.
Paul Millsap isn't the guy in those clutch closing situations, he's just not. In at least 5 of those types of situations where we're down needing a bucket with the shot-clock off, this season, he's turned it over twice, and missed three more times (twice tonight). We still don't have go to guy at the end of the game.
7/14 from the line, not once did we hit both FTs tonight. Truly disgusting in a 2 point loss.

Well guys, looks like that rebuild's a coming. I don't think Atlanta pays that contract to Horford and it says if they don't, they're rebuilding.

Paul can do it all except score in the clutch. Good news is Jeffrey is looking lively again and on top of that the team also wasted a rare good performance on both ends by Kyle. Still lack confidence in Bud's ability to draw up a crucial inbounds play, just looks like wild scrambles of guys trying to get open resulting in an iso or difficult jumper. LD really spoiled me with his numerous quick hitters.

Yeah this is becoming a bad trend with late game inbounds plays. I mean I get it those are probably THE TOUGHEST plays to call , like scoring in the redzone.
But the execution just looks bad.

I don't think it's the play call - it's the execution. Players seems to get happy hands and feet.
At least we had an attempt at the basket this time. I've seen so many instances where we did not get off a shot attempt.

Offense: C
The Hawks didn’t take care of the ball. Millsap missed two in-close attempts in the final nine seconds. They fell behind after going a stretch of 11:25 by scoring just three points (and missed two free throws). They went 1 of 13 from the field with seven turnovers. The Hawks fought back but they lost a nine-point advantage during the drought.
Defense: B-plus
The Hawks played a solid game defensively allowing just 17, 26, 21 and 21 points by quarter. The Clippers shot just 38.8 percent from the field and 5 of 27 from 3-point range. The Clippers did have 21 free-throw attempts but 12 of those were from DeAndre Jordan during the fouling strategy.

I watched some of the game, not all.
Very disappointed in the outcome. This game was drawing a great deal of attention since the New Year from many people that I know. Those people attended the game and had been looking forward to it for awhile like I mentioned.
We had been favored to win by 4 points as well.
Time to shake off the loss and proceed forward..lol
