Use this thread to discuss the NBA Playoffs (except for anything Hawks related).

Jonas Valanciunas already with 8 first quarter rebounds, including many of them offensive. He'll be an X factor in this series, I think.

I forget that Jonas is still so young. As he continues to grow and improve, he has a chance to be a top Center in this league in a few years.

TOR has both Jonas and Bebe.

I really like what Masai has done as their GM of late. Now they just need a better coach.

Norm Powell is such a good, young player.

Masai Ujuri has a real eye for talent.

I want the Raps to win this series. Don't think I could take seeing Indiana in the second round, and knowing that we could be facing them with homecourt advantage, had we just beaten the Wizards.

Paul George single handedly carrying the Pacers right now.

Sixteen points in the third quarter alone.

Meh...we'd still have to get through a rested, experienced Miami team had we beaten WAS.

Y'all don't even want to know what I would do to have Paul George on our team

Agreed. Paul George is a star player. Today's Game One against TOR is more proof of elite talent and experienced coaching being necessary to succeed in the NBA.

Horford, PG13, and Teague in our system, under Bud, is championship caliber.

This is 3 straight years now that the Raptors have lost game 1. Unbelievable.

Whenever you're feeling down and need a pick me up their board is always a good place to start.

Pistons hanging, if it were the Hawks they'd tease a run but stay down 8-10 pts, lol

Pistons have shot lights out from three in this game. Hopefully they finish it off.

That Kyrie guy is pretty good.

I said Detroit wouldn't be a push over

Detroit had a chance to win this. They blew it though when their offense went stagnant in the final minutes

Pistons just didn't have enough to pull it out. This was their best chance of stealing one: they ambushed the Cavs and shot an abnormally great percentage from 3 (in the first half, at least) but they lacked execution in the end.
