Where the announced attendance figure gets manipulated is the complimentary tickets. Here’s what is worth noting about that number. For both Games 1 and 2 and again for Game 5, the 300-plus employees of the Hawks were given, yes given, six free tickets. Two of those tickets were in the lower bowl. In other words, good seats.

Wonder what the other teams give away in terms of free tickets?

I've always defending Atlanta sports fans, but they've really disappointed me over the first two playoff games. Atlanta fans always show up for he playoffs, but I saw way too many Celtics fans in the stands. Hopefully they begin to show up again, before it's too late.

The curse of being in a football state and having no megastar like LeBron. It happens everywhere DC, ATL, etc.

Let's be honest, this team is as boring as every team we have had since Nique left. The only fun team to watch was last year's team and it lost its steam right before the playoffs. This team is very boring. Fans know that. It's on our organization to get winners who can excite you.

That would be great but all the exciting players in the world won't work either if they don't win. Winning with boring players>>>>> losing with exciting players. The Spurs say high too.
