Rockets very high on him.......add the Nets & Lakers.

Not sure the Hawks will pay him that much, but if Lin can get 3/36, Baze is going to be very happy at the end of all this.

Wow, 15-19 million, thats great news for the Hawks. Defiantly worth it. Baz production is better than Carroll, and Baz is 4 years younger than Carroll. The only problem is that Baz was playing out of position all season, but once they move Baz to his natural position, he can defiantly turn it up another level.

I want no part of Bazemore at 18-20 million. That's one of those contracts that a GM would be looking back on in 6 months saying "what was I thinking?"

Baze ranked 21 on the Vertical Top 100....that's a lot of folding money coming his way, but 20M?

It doesn't matter, the salary cap is jumping to 95 million. 20 million is equivalent to 11-12 million in 2014-2015

From everyrhing that I've read the salary cap is projected to be at 94 million for the 2016-17 season not 95 million.

A 4Y/80M contract is projected to take up about 20% of the cap moving forward. It is also equal to that of a $13,861,386 starting salary in the 2015-16 season.

Does Al represent another Joe Johnson signing for us? The vertical rankings had Al ranked 6 and Dwight at 16(They obviously feel Dwight has fallen way off). These guys are both productive and for us, we need more of an inside presence and would offset paying Al 25M minimum for 5 years.

We dodged a builet with Dellavadova getting 4/38 from the Bucks...whew!

What PG doesn't threaten DS and complements his strengths? I wouldn't mind looking at Seth Curry as a backup.

^ I think Brandon Jennings could backup Dennis. I don't think his contract would be too expensive, (Nets just signed Lin) but I could be wrong.

Management has already prepared for Baze to depart. That's clear to me by our draft night selections.

On another note: If Evan Turner can get 4yrs, 70 million.....Baze will get paid more.

Well. We upgraded our interior defense, and wing depth this offseason. But at the expense of breaking up our PG duo and losing out on Al's midrange game and professionalism.

I still think it's too much for Baze, but at least we won't have to worry about our wings in both the short term and the long term.

I think Hawks so far have made out like bandits for what these other teams are paying to inferior players, imo. Evan Turner, Mozgov, Parsons? Hawks be doing good so far. I think both Dwight and Baze could have easily fetched more lucrative deals.

That's just what is known so far. Wouldn't suprise me if he had bigger offers that we just dont know of yet.

This is one of the worst deals given out. 17.5 million a year for a guy who is a 5th option on offense and only scores 10 points a game and is undersized at the 3 when we have LeBron in the conference.
