NBA Approves Change To Hack-A-Dwight Rule

Wow! I was against this the last few years, but now that the Hawks got Dwight recently, this seems like a clear and almost crucial benefit for the Hawks now.

Not very often a change benefits the Hawks.

NBA Approves Change To Hack-A-Dwight Rule

It'll benefit the Hawks, but I'm glad the NBA won't completely outlaw the practice, (although the flagrant foul portion of the new rule was greatly needed, players shouldn't be allowed to jump on a C's back: it's dangerous).

I'm of the mindset that these guys should just put in the time to practice and make their FTs. Just hitting 55% will render the hack useless. I'm glad to see Dwight putting in the time on his FT's this offseason.

I'm hoping for 59%+ like his days with Orlando.

Not enough of a change. If it illegal in the last 2 minutes of each quarter then it should be illegal for the entire game.
