Seems like we should be developing Bembry instead.

AGREED. Seems like the biggest hole in Bembry's game is an unreliable jumper.

Maybe the coaching staff in Erie is better equipped to help him improve it...though that makes little sense. :dontknow:

Year 2, at his age--I'd definitely expect a bigger jump in production/abilities at this point.

Bembry has really struggled the last few games he's played. We know his outside shooting is a problem but he's had Lots of turnovers, missed shots at the rim, etc. Yes it's year 2 for him but unlike Prince he rarely played last year and his untimely injuries both in camp and to start the regular season put him behind the 8 ball.
I do agree, more Bembry development in lieu of Delaney.

7 turnovers in a D-League game is disgusting. Really ruins the entire statline imo

Bembry is like 2nd in the league in turnover percentage. It really ruins his entire potential if he can't get that under control, he's not proficient enough a shooter to be a 3&D player and needs to be far more efficient to be a ball handling combo.

With this guy in the minors, does it affect at all what we do with any of our three first round picks?

Should it?

It's not but he's so far ahead at this point that it's a foregone conclusion (averaging 10.1 apg, second placed Lorenzo Brown is at 8.8).

The dude must really want to be in the NBA because he could be making some bucks overseas.

:)

Andrew White now has a two way contract. As usual, I know nothing about most any player who is not
on the Hawks current roster. He must be kinda good to have earned this.

Share, if you know more.

Could this be a small, even tiny move, knowing the trade deadline is looming? Kinda like topping off the
gas tank when it's almost full, knowing a long journey is just ahead.

8-)
