Just goes to show that you have to have vision and luck with the draft.

Andrew White scored 15 points in his first NBA game and added 1 offensive rebound, 1 defensive rebound, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Making him the first player ever to score double digits plus a quadruple-single in his first NBA game.

But who's the first to do it on a Tuesday ... in March?

Reminds me of a story my guy Frank Isola told. Said some rando college player once said he wanted to be the first to log a "trillion".

- "A trillion?
- "Yeah. Play 1 minute but get no stats so the box score is 1 000 000 000 000 ... a trillion"

#Brilliant

Yea, you were probably saying to yourself "That's already been done, it's called 'the Mario'."

I lol'd but I did it with a frown on my face. That was a unnecessary GT-shot. Could've easily just called it a "Royal Ivey with Cheese" but you had to get a shot in. smdh

Sounds like Simmons is wrapping up the ROY race down the stretch of the season:

Should Ben Simmons be considered a rookie when despite not playing, he was with the team all of last season..workouts, travel, etc.?

I understand that he didn’t play, but I think the nba needs to hand out the rookie of the year award to the best rookie in that class in that year...if you’re injured, tough luck! That’s a rule I would definitely change.

Not sure if I’m in the minority here....???

It's no different than red-shirting in college and there are worse examples such as the MLB where you can play on the big league team in a season yet still be considered a rookie the next season because you didn't reach an at-bat/days limit. Once you change the rookie rules you basically have to exclude most European prospects that stay over, David Robinsons that fulfill other commitments, or 2nd rounders/undrafted guys that take years to break into the league on an active roster.

And how would all this be a problem? Although you got me with the Admiral. He’s basically serving his country....

How did he not mention Donovan or Tatum? The two best players drafted in 2017.
