While we do have a board dedicated to the Atlanta Falcons this thread provides more exposure to the topic and Hawk fans can share their thoughts on the big game today.
I like Atlanta to win. As a 4 point favorite the line is increasing to 6.
Seattle beat us during the regular season but today is the biggest game of our season to this point and Matt Ryan needs to prove he can win during the playoffs.

Love it!!!
I need a win today from the Falcons more than any other games in recent history.
A win today validates Matty Ice's likely MVP coronation, gets that playoff monkey off our backs and likely makes us the favorite from the NFC to grace the championship game.
I worked in the Georgia Dome as a teenager working Falcons games, so, with this possibly the last football game thew Dirty Birds will ever play there...I'd love to see us get a decisive win to close out there tenure in style.
I'm skeptical of everything normally. And am far from a homer...but today I predict a Falcons victory:
Seattle 23
Atlanta 31

I'm on freaking pins and needles right now. The Falcons should be ok, but the win or go home has me wrecked. It's not like the Falcons are usually in the playoffs, lol. They've been better after Blank came in, but fell short a couple of times since 2012.
I don't think I'm even going to the Falcons life game thread, it's just too intense today. If I do visit, I may just refresh the first page.

Matt Ryan odds to win the Super Bowl are 12/1.
He needs a good showing during the playoffs fore sure. Tom Brady is leading and followed by Aaron Rodgers.

I hope the Falcons win. Can't stand the Seahawks and love that high powered offense. It still remember the great playoff game when Seattle roared back with a huge comeback to take like a 1 pt lead after trailing by like 21 in Wilson's first or second year, and then the Falcons just drove down and kicked a FG to win it.

Falcons offense has showed up today.
In addition, it feels like the football gods are working in our favor today. Penalties, injuries, missed calls...all working for the home team.

Falcons receivers have been chirping at the Seattle DBs all afternoon. Atlanta is lucky no unsportsmanlike conduct penalties have been called.

Makes the whole weekend a good one.
I don't know if we can beat New England or Pittsburgh...
But I like our chances against Dallas or Green Bay. Super Bowl or bust, baby!!!!
My only issue...Shanahan has to commit to running the ball between the tackles in the fourth quarter with a lead. With six minutes left...we were up double digits and proceeded to throw incompletions, get Matty Ice tossed like a rag doll and have our WRs manhandled by the Seattle secondary.
Run the clock out, Kyle. No need to show off to prospective employers.

What a fantastic game.
Our players are so deserving of this victory and put in so much hard work to make it to this point. Green Bay or Dallas, I believe our team is prepared.

(^From before the NFC Championship Game.)
I put this SB loss on the offensive coaching staff. We dominated wth the run in the first half. Then abandoned the running game with a 19 point lead in the fourth quarter.
Matt Ryan's sack and fumble. The
other Matt Ryan fumble that pulled us out of Field Goal range -- both occurred because we abandoned the run with a lead. And allowed the opposition to tee off on our QB. He never got a legitimate shot to win after that.
Run the clock out, Kyle. This loss hurts more than the blowout to John Elway and the Broncos 18 years ago.We outplayed NE for three quarters...and then stopped doing all the things that got us there.
I'm seriously gonna need a couple of weeks to shake this one off. I'll be back after the NBA All Star Game.
PS Keep an eye out for the Pacers And Wizards. They both seem ripe to upend the current hierarchy in the East.
PPS THJ needs to remain a starter for the rest of the season. We need to know what he is Capable of.

People still wonder why no1 gives a damn about atlanta sports, not only is it a transit city but it has the biggest choke artist on all levels from college to women sports to all major sports leagues
Im not even mad about the lost. They didn't deserve it at all. Not only they gave up 2 two point conversions back to back but they also couldnt even get within damn field goal range. An absolutely pathetic on all levels.

Very bad coaching by Kyle at the end. All they had to do was run the ball and kick a FG.
The defense balled out, but no defense in football should ever be out on the field that long.
Though L and it was avoidable.

I have given up hope on Atlanta sports. It's a waste of energy. Nothing will work out. We will never win.

The defense did a lot of it to themselves. I do blame Kyle for that play, but I don't get the love for the Defense. They did well in the first half. However they then allowed Brady to sit back and hit the same couple of plays over and over. The secondary struggled in the second half. While they did get a pick 6 on the play, they gave the Patriots multiple first downs on penalties. Those extra plays were tiresome.
