Homecoming Weekend Part 1: Cavs in ATL
Nationally televised game against the reigning world champs. And oh, yeah...Korver's back in the house!!!
Atlanta hosts the Cavaliers in the second contest of a six-game homestand. The Hawks (34-26), who are trying to clinch a playoff spot for the 10th consecutive season, are fifth in the East -- 1.5 games behind Toronto. Cleveland (41-18) has the best record in the East and holds a 7.5 game lead over Atlanta.
Atlanta successfully opened its homestand Wednesday. The Hawks blew a 12-point second-half lead but hung on on to beat Dallas 100-95.
The game marks the return of Cavs' forward Kyle Korver to Atlanta. The popular veteran played four-plus seasons with the Hawks and ranks third on the club's all-time list of 3-pointers made. ESPN

Completely expecting Korver to go off for 30 tonight. Nonetheless, I can't wait to give him a standing ovation when he's introduced.

Still getting used to Paul Millsap as the unmitigated Face of the Franchise at age 32.
Never would've imagined that...
(I am conflicted)

Do Bud and the coaches even scout the Cavs?! We're pulling the same trapping ish we did in the playoffs and low and behold, the Cavs have 69 with 3 mins left in the half.

Despite volcanic shooting by the Cavs (again) the Hawks minus some miscues had a chance to steal this one.

Korver with the dagger, so wonderful that we traded him to the team that's our biggest obstacle in the east.

THJ is getting payed this summer, and I think we have to be the ones that fill his bank account. You just can't let young talent, that you used a first round pick on, just leave after they start bearing the fruit of your labors.

Homecoming Weekend Part 1: Cavs in ATL
HereLeBron James and Kyrie Irving didn’t lead the Cleveland Cavaliers’ offense on Friday — they were the offense. As the Cavaliers scored 135 points, James and Irving scored or assisted on 117 of them. That’s 87 percent of the offense being attributable to those two.
It was a record-setting night for Cleveland, who roasted the Atlanta Hawks with 25 made threes. It’s the second time the Cavs have done that to the Hawks in the past 12 months, and it’s also the second time any team has ever hit 25 threes in a game.
Serious question: which would be worse? Being swept by the Cavs a third straight time? Or not even making it out of the first round?

I really want to at least make it out of the first round. Have some fun in the stands in the playoffs.
I think we might be able to take at least one against the Cavs, and maybe lose 4-1 this year.

We really ask for so little as Hawks fans.
