No Aldridge or Parker, Kawhi is questionable. If ever there was a time to steal one in San Antonio, this is it.

Kawhi Leonard is pretty good at basketball.
He and backups is as good or better than Hawks at full strength.
Why?
10 point game after one period.

At the star of the second quarter...our backups literally can't get a shot attempt off. Three straight turnovers.
Calderon is looking exclusively to get others their easy buckets. Refreshing.
Spurs making our 2nd string look like scrubs.

In the last 12-13 mins of gametime, the Hawks have hit 4 FGs total, 3 of those coming on consecutive possessions by Ersan Ilyasova.
So Coach Bud is obviously gonna leave in the hot hand and only player who can score right? Apparently not, because God forbid having his strict rotation messed up.

As a Turkish fan I am so disappointed by the treatment Ersan is receiving from coaches that seem to somehow downplay his skills regarding the general NBA culture. Mike Budenholzer last said that he doesn't think "taking charges is really part of the NBA culture" and actually IMHO does not respect him as even a rotation piece very much. It was same for the "master of college but ever-rookie NBA coach" Billy Donovan. He gave up on him after 3 games. The rigid mindset of many NBA coaches who stick with only core and "local" players and the master gameplan regarding when to put in 1st and 2nd team amazes me.

The 3-point shot killed the Hawks again...the Hawks allowed the Spurs a season-high 16 long-range makes. They shot .471 from long range on 34 attempts.
The Hawks shot a meager .273 as they were 6 of 22 from 3-point range.Kent Bazemore wrote:I like where we are...I really feel good about this team and the season we’ve had, grinding to get wins, come playoff time that’s going to help us out.

Maybe you have not been watching Hawks games regularly, but since Ilyasova has joined the Hawks he has supplanted Mike Muscala as the first big off the bench backing up Millsap and has been on the court in lieu of Dwight Howard playing alongside Millsap to end games. If that's not respect from Coach Bud I don't know what to tell you.
Here are Coach Bud's exact words regarding 'Taking a Charge'
“He has that high I.Q. on defense where he sees things happening a little bit quicker,” Hawks Coach Mike Budenholzer said, “and he’s willing to put his body on the line.”
The Hawks use an acronym at practice: MIG, which stands for Most Important Guy. That guy is the baseline defender responsible for offering help if one of his teammates is beaten off the dribble. The coaching staff wants the players who are least likely to block shots to take charges, or at least have that mind-set. There are limits. The season is punishing enough.
“We’re not doing charge drills at practice,” Budenholzer said. “I don’t think it’s really part of the N.B.A. culture. As coaches, we respect what’s required to take a charge. The more of them the better. But I don’t think you’re going to bench a guy if he doesn’t slide over and take the charge.”

Nailed it.
Also one shouldn't think that Ersan is being disrespected because of the incident that happened with Coach Bud putting him on the bench despite the fact that he was the hot hand last night. He's benched the hot hand in favor of his rotations constantly this season.
