What an awful 3rd quarter. We had like 2 fgs.
On the bright side, another good game for Prince - 4 Blocks also.

Dennis was horrendous and Dwight is absolutely useless against any C that can stretch the floor and knock down a consistent open jumper.

That was a stinker.

I hope that there is some fessing up and taking of responsibility for the moves that have left us in this situation. DH and Schro isn't working and seems to be affecting Schros progress. That doesn't bode well for now or the future.

Prince is balling and showing why we should have gone for a youth movement rebuild instead of investing in old vets and a losing season

Yeah, Dennis had one of those nights that make you question everything about him:
Grizzlies coach David Fizdale was asked pre-game for the key to the game. His answer was simply to stop Schroder from driving to the basket. Schroder struggled on Thursday and took a number of jump shots. For the game, Schroder was 4 of 16 from the field and 1 of 6 from 3-point range.

And Dwight's kryptonite is absolutely jump-shooting Centers. There's a growing sentiment that Dwight's presence on the court actually does more harm than good for this Hawks team. The offense craters and his defense is limited to the painted area, leaving us susceptible from 18-24 feet:
Gasol would finish with a triple-double, the third of his career and second of the season, with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

“He was picking everybody apart on our defense,” Hardaway said. “We can’t allow that. He got going in the first quarter and kept on going no matter who was guarding him.”

Gasol had nine points by the six-minute mark of the first quarter -- after totaling 8 points in his previous game against the Hawks.

NOTE: The league would be much more competitive and interesting if this Memphis team played in the Eastern Conference.

H3LL, the East would be more competitive if Marc Gasol were traded to any of the top 6 teams in the East.
