The Falcons have a great young defense and made the SB a year ahead of schedule, the Braves are loaded with prospects, the United is looking like a contender in MLS right from inception. The Hawks offer absolutely nothing other than mediocrity to look forward to. Hindsight is 20/20 but they should've just traded Millsap and tanked.

I do offer up one thing, not making the playoffs this year may not be such a bad idea. This draft according to mostly all publications is absolutely loaded, the higher we can draft is more for the better because even if we scrap into the playoffs it most likely will be a quick struggle.
So far in the Bud Era this is the worst shooting, worst passing team we've had.

Indeed. The loss of Horford, Teague and Korver has been difficult to overcome.
Losing one we could survive. But losing all three plus Millsap's injury is simply too much.

The Hawks failed to take care of the basketball. It’s something that has become a disturbing trend. They committed 20 turnovers against the Nets, three short of their season high.
While the Nets only turned the miscues into eight points, the Hawks missed opportunities to get on track offensively with empty possessions.
“It starts with me,” Dennis Schroder said. “I have to take care of the ball and make better decisions.”
The Hawks have three days before they host the Celtics on Thursday. Expect the offense to be a focal point.
“Really, our defense is not the problem,” Budenholzer said. “… We just have to look closer at our offense. How can we score more or better?” myAJC
