Sans the damn care bear logo, I like the new jerseys. The font and color really gives off an "ATLiens" vibe.

How long until we see a full Sharecare Jersey with just a small Hawks logo across the heart?

That's where the real money comes in.

Nice mis-direction post. Everyone knows you are the real 'large baller' amongst this group. I just don't know where you get enough food for the bulk out there in San Fran. Haven't they outlawed fatty foods and big gulps out there yet?

Lol....hahaha I do love food...but everything I eat turns to brawn broh.

Ps Steve Hess is worried about you and wants you to do off-season workouts with him and Nene but I told him you were doing the ballet thing again this offseason to work on your "balance"....

Ressler taking a step back in duties at his firm.

Read on Twitter

Ares Management has become the latest big alternative asset management group to make leadership changes this year after naming Michael Arougheti as its chief executive officer.

Tony Ressler, the company’s co-founder and chief executive, is set to become executive chairman with a focus on investor relationships, strategy and marketing.

Mr Arougheti insisted his company did not have succession issues where it needed to name someone to replace an ageing founder.

“In fact, this is freeing [Mr Ressler] to continue to drive the growth of the business.”

^^He did say he didn't realize that owning an NBA team is a full time job - hopefully more time for the Hawks.

Lesson learned....but he did make those comments before hiring Schlenk and his vision.

Blech. Don't ruin Russell looking like a gray-bearded alien for me, cuz that's what he looks like nowadays and I'm ok with that. That and the whole 'lets memorialize a fantastic career with the regular stomping of the Hawks' kind of vibe. Can do without that.

'You Can Be a Pioneer'

Becky Hammon was only the beginning. Over the past few years, women have slowly migrated into positions of power within NBA front offices. There's still a ways to go, but for the handful of female decision-makers already in place, the possibility that they could run a franchise themselves isn't just a theory anymore.

The last few years have seen a subtle but significant surge of women in front offices across the league—and specifically in basketball ops, where you might not have found a single woman as recently as 2010.

Michelle Leftwich, a veteran of the league office, was hired by the Atlanta Hawks in October to be their salary cap guru.

And in August, the Atlanta Hawks named Tori Miller as the second-ranking basketball executive for their minor league team, the Erie BayHawks.
Bleacher Report

It's just a matter of time before that glass ceiling is broken through.

I do foresee a female GM before a female Head Coach.
