The Orlando Magic have interest in hiring Grant Hill as president of basketball operations.

Hill would have to divest his small ownership stake in the Atlanta Hawks and it is also unclear if he has interest in the job. Hill currently works as an analyst for Turner and CBS.

Other candidates for the job include Pat Garrity and Travis Schlenk.

Matt Lloyd replaced Rob Hennigan as interim general manager and is a candidate for the permanent job. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/245603/Magic-Interested-In-Grant-Hill-As-President-Of-Basketball-Operations

G Hill publicly denying interest in the job. A wise move since he currently financial stake in a rival franchise.

It wouldn't surprise me if he were to reconsider down the road.

That's great news and thank you for sharing.
I believe he has a great deal going on in his current live. Owner, works television, and any other investments that I'm not knowledgeable about.
It'd be nice to keep Grant Hill around and a representative of our organization.

People lie to the media all the time. He wouldn't be missed in ATL. It's sad to see him and Nique, two of the most talented SFs ever not working with guys like Prince, Bremby and Hardaway. You see Magic working with the young Lakers.
