Does this "new" Hawk team qualify?

Can they walk and chew gum at the same time?

Rebound? What rebound? Or, can they "just do it?"

Play pitch and catch without an automatic turnover?

Play some defense without an automatic foul call?

Have any speed, quickness?

And, can they hit some shots from all over the court and especially from
the free throw line?

:D

This will be better 3 point shooting team almost certainly. Probably from the line too. We should see a ton of effort but maybe not a lot of wins.

I see a team with adequate defense...but terrible offense. I foresee a ton of turnovers also as only Dennis and KB24 have significant experience playing heavy minutes together.

I see the system being adjusted yet again, leading to more growing pains.

I see a team with no significant offensive talent. We should have better spacing with the additions of Bellinelli and Ersan. Beyond that, there aren't a ton of dependable, proven performers.

I think we'll see more ball movement on O, more open shots. What we do with them is anyone's guess. The overall level of talent is lower so we'll lose more as a result.

On D, we won't be outworked like we consistently were this past season. Errors of commission will be tremendously more palatable than the errors of omission we saw last year so we won't be the 'hard watch' many seem to think we'll be.

It's been a long time since we've seen young guys get real minutes. I'm looking forward to that. It's important to establish an identity which i hope will be hard nosed basketball.
