When we read what Bud and Travis have to say about this year's Hawk team, we know that Atlanta does not plan
to roll over and play dead to any NBA team that they face.

No, they don't expect to "win it all" this season. They are, however, planning on having some of these young lads
there when they do "go for the gold."

Travis apparently believes in having on board, those players who are capable scorers. We really need this because
we really didn't have that in abundance last season.

Bud and his staff believe in defense and plan on teaching our young players the in's and outs of NBA defense. We
know how often Millsap swiped the ball and we will miss this. Perhaps some of our youth will step up and take over
this choir.

Anyone watch Coach Bud's press conference? He's always a little somber but i'm wondering if he seemed energized at all. He's in a tough spot if he doesn't have complete backing of Schlenk.

Thoughts:

1. Seeing this confirms my belief that Budenholzer was behind the Dwight Howard signing, despite our new owner attempting to take the blame.

2. Seeing the difference in energy level a year later makes me think Bud is on auto-pilot. Accepting of his fate until the time comes for his next move.

He's clearly doing the peter out technique. Pretty soon he'll stop taking our calls, saying he's been really busy. And then we'll never hear from him again.

What a jerk.
