Let's have 'em boys and girls.

1. I've accepted that this will be a Development over wins season(we'll have games like we did against the Grizz and stinkers like we did against Dallas) #DevelopmentOverWins.
2. Dennis - we know he can score but can he lead and be an effective floor general. All eyes on him.
3. Prince or Dennis in the running for MIP
4. Collins as 1st team rookie selection
5. Collins, Prince and Bembry in rookie/sophmore game.
6. Baze should have a bounce back year (he can't be any worse than last year)
7. More Bembry running the offense
8. Will Moose look like an NBA player for a full season?
9. I would love to see Collins starting by Jan. 2018.
10. I can't wait for the trade deadline, it's gonna be fun: Dedmon, Illyasova, Belinelli, who gets us picks and/or young talent? Baze can he play well enough so we can move him without including an asset? (I don't think we'll move ALL our vets).
11. #DelaneyStillSucks - will he finally show us why he got an NBA contract (or he'll be heading back to the EuroLeague soon enough)
12. Bembry, will he learn to shoot?
13. Tyler Dorsey and Brussino will spend ample time in the GL.
14. Will we learn to make a post entry pass, sigh.
15. Our defense will be top 10 (as long as it's not what Bud rolled out against Mavs)
16. Collins leads the team in rebounds
17. If we make the playoffs on the back of the young core guys, I'm ok with it. If it's our vets I won't like it much.
18. Rooting for the #1pick!!!

1- Really don't expect to be the NBA champions this season.
2- Don't expect to be the NBA door mats this season.
3- Hoping this season's Hawk team learns how to defend the 3 point shot.
4- Hoping that this year's Hawk team can hit a good % of their threes.
%- Hoping, desperately, that ALL Hawk players hit a great % of their free throws.

Whatever happens, as far as wins goes, I hope and expect this team to play fast, exciting basketball.
I hope and expect this Hawk team to keep every game close, if they don't run away with any opponent.

I expect this team to win much more than one out of every three games, in fact, close to half their games
will be wins OR so very, very close.

I expect to see our young players grow and our vets over achieve! Wins? High 30's - Say 37 !!

Collins will be starting when Ersan gets traded in January
I think we keep Marco and sign him to another contract
Prince and Collins will definitely be in the rookie / sophmore game
I hope Bembry gets to play PG but i don't think it'll happen. Bud loves Delaney for some reason.
Moose will be moose which means up and down season.
I think we'll be around 15-18th in 3 point shooting this year
Dedmon will be one of the most improved players in the league. Also think we'll keep him.
Baze will bounce back a little bit but i don't expect any big breakthrough
Dorsey will play his way into the rotation and hopefully become a sniper off the bench. Might be end of the season though.
Tiago Plumlee will crack some good jokes with Bob and Nique and keep saying he'll be back soon.
We will be VERY active at the deadline but likely will mean MORE PICKS!
Delaney will shoot terribly from 3
Dennis will average 20 points / 6 assists

My heart says 35 wins and a run at a playoff spot in a truly terrible East, my head says 26 wins and a top 5 pick.

I just saw this....

1. We will be a run n gun team and take advantage of our youth and speed.
2. We will go back to bombing 3's like we did a few years back.
3. Taurean Prince will avg over 1.5 steals a game.
4. Dennis will piss Bud off bigtime before Xmas. lol
5. Dedmon/Bembry/Babbitt will be fan favorites.
6. Schlenk will turn one of Ersan/Marco/Baze into a 1st round pick for us.
7. Plumlee will still be a Hawk in March :-(

8. John Collins will start by Xmas and make the all rookie 1st team averaging 10 points and 8 boards a game meanwhile shutting up the critics with his surprising interior D.
9. One of Prince/Collins/Dedmon gets into a physical altercation with another player causing in a 1-5 game suspension.
10. Sothron buys some volt Hawks gear.

And with all that said...Hawks play hard but come out with the 3rd worst record in the league behind the Bulls and Knicks. We end up with the 3rd most balls in the lottery but land the 2nd pick overall.

Wouldn't surprise me. In the east it's usually easier to finish 8th than 9th.

I'll go with 33 wins. Just outside of the playoffs, which is good for me. Hopefully some growth and exceeding expectations but still having a shot at a good pick.

Yeah, That bold proclamation already looks like a no go.

Nets did impress in a loss otherwise, though.

7 more games to go before the halfway point - 2 games to end December, at Raptors then home against the Blazers.
We begin the New Year with a 5 game road trip out West: Suns, Blazers, Lakers, Clippers and Nuggets.
Project our win total after 41 wins.

13-28.
I predict we'll beat Toronto (beating an East top team is always fun), followed up by a win at home versus Blazers. 4 game win streak here we come. Then I predict we win 2 of 5 on the road to start the new year - Suns and one of the LAL teams. I hope JCollins does get to posterize Brandon Ingram (the NBA 2K rating tweet :lol:

I thought I guessed 26 wins. Turns out, it was 37.

Didn't really believe we would be riding in this new, shiny tank.

With injured players coming back soon and the trade deadline just around the corner, who knows what might happen.
Hawks may obtain another 1st round draft pick or a young, seldom used NBA player that just needs floor time and
intense Bud training. I have no idea who but I'll bet he's out there somewhere.

Any ideas?
