Stingy defense is taking Utah to places no one expected the Jazz to reach earlier in the season.
The Jazz enter Tuesday's clash with the Atlanta Hawks riding a nine-game winning streak. Utah has won 21 of 23 overall to move into fifth place in the Western Conference standings, and there's no sign of that momentum grinding to a halt any time soon.

The Hawks have dropped six straight games and seven of eight since the beginning of March. Porous defense is the primary culprit.
In its last 12 games, Atlanta has allowed 115.7 points per game. The Hawks have struggled the most in the third quarter. In its last five games, Atlanta has surrendered an average of 36.2 points in the third quarter.

This game will mark the 100th meeting between the Jazz and the Hawks.

The Hawks will be without starting forward John Collins for Tuesday’s game against the Jazz due to a left ankle sprain. The rookie was listed on the team’s injury report on Monday before the second of a six-game road trip.

Collins did travel with the team on Monday.

Collins was injured in Saturday’s loss at the Bucks when he came down on the foot of Giannis Antetokounmpo while shooting a corner 3-pointer in the fourth quarter.

Let's see this tank through to the end Hawks. 20-62 is within our grasp.

I thought we could win 1 more to end the season at 21 wins! For a certain legend.

But at this point, tankers are tanking so we can’t get cute here. Lose lose lose!

Can anyone give a guess on what the rotation could be?

The Jazz aren't one of those teams that let trash teams shock them, especially in their house. I have no doubt that tonight will be an L.

Damion Lee with the start.

I wish Bembry wasn't injured. These could be valuable development minutes.

Figured, he'd cool off but I'm more interested in seeing what his 2nd half will look like nowand moreso his next game.
Can he bounce back.

He's pressing the issue tonight, playing too fast and indecisive with the ball.

Disgusting from Utah, and from Donovan Mitchell. Absolutely pitiful.

Uuum....mmmm...i did not expect that.

Was the Hawks defense this good or was Utah's offense terrible.

#BudHug for Snyder.

Jazz had no answer for Dennis.

Hopefully after this 41 point effort - Dennis has a rest day vs Sac.

Probably the latter, Jay.

One can hope Dennis scored too much tonight and won't have nothing left for the Kings.
