Hawks in GMAT

Post#1 » by MoneyTalks41890 » Fri Mar 23, 2018 10:43 pm

Hello, Hawks fans.

I'm going to use the Hawks in GMAT and want to go for a full rebuild. Curious about what ideas you all have.

Would you trade Schroeder/Baze? To whom?

What else?

GMAT is an incredibly fun experience on realgm, especially when everyone's into it. Much love to everyone on the T&T games board who volunteers to run it.

My advice is to just have fun with it. Go crazy if you want. In real life John Collins, our pick and maybe Taurean Prince would be the only untouchable assets. In GMAT, listen to offers for all of them (except for the pick if you're trying to rebuild).

I'd try to get as much value as possible for Bazemore while taking back as little long term salary. The funnest thing about the Hawks is that you have a bunch of cap space, and can use some of our later picks to dump Plumlee and open up even more (few teams have cap space in the NBA). I'd definitely build through FA while keeping our pick, which should be top 3.
