Time to give this the sticky treatment.

Jamaal, how many more days until you make the "2020 draft thread"? :)

I have Cameron Reddish as #1 and everybody else a distant #2.

Watching the film, Reddish looks like a poor man's Durant or George Gervin.

I don't see any potential future top 10 player in the 2019 draft, but I think Reddish could be on the same level or same impact player as a Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown. I don't see Reddish being a prime Durant, but could be a prime Shareef Abdur-Rahim, or high level starter but fringe all star player.

For the rest of the 2019 prospects, for now they all look to be on the same level as Anthony Bennett, Justice Winslow, or Michael Beasley.

Cameron Reddish will be the best pro in this draft class. the only negative about him is that he might be too unselfish and not aggressive enough. Reddish is super talented, but plays with no chip on his shoulder and looks to let his teammates shine at time rather then himself.

Some lesser known names that fit the mold of what we're looking for:

Read on Twitter

3. Nassir Little, SF, North Carolina | Freshman

Height:
6'6" | Weight: 215 | Age: 18

No player did more for himself on the high school All-Star circuit than Little, who’s become a known commodity rather quickly with his scoring ability at all three levels. Already mature physically, Little has a relentless mentality on both ends of the floor, gets downhill to the rim easily and can be a disruptive on-ball defender with his 7'1" wingspan. He’s improving as a jump shooter, and the next step is improving his shot selection and handle. He’s big, tough and quick enough to keep up with most opponents, and could be a power wing at the next level à la Jaylen Brown. Little appears to be trending upward, and will be a major part of a UNC team that will have high expectations.

4. Sekou Doumboya, F, Limoges

Height:
6'8" | Weight: 230 | Age: 17

Doumboya was the most impressive prospect at February’s Basketball Without Borders Global Camp, cementing himself as a likely lottery pick and potentially one of the first names called at the draft next year. After playing in France’s Pro B last year, he’ll make the move up a division to Limoges, a club that will also compete in the EuroCup. He’s been stellar within his age group, and the tenor of his pro season will determine how high he can climb in the draft. Blessed with natural bounce, a strong build, a 6'11" wingspan and huge hands, Doumboya has a rare power-skill combination on the offensive end, and can be a standout defender when fully engaged. He’s a confident jump shooter and should be capable of playing either forward spot as he matures. Improving his handle is the next step.

10. Luka Samanic, F, KK Olimpija

Height:
6'10" | Weight: 210 | Age: 18

Samanic’s play was up and down at Basketball Without Borders in February, but his overall skill set and strengths at his size are highly appealing in the long-term. Should he enter the draft next year, he’s almost sure to be a first-rounder. He’s not a stiff athletically and has enough of a pass-dribble-shoot skillset to fit in anywhere on the floor. He’s most likely to end up as a combo forward at the next level with his ability to handle and shoot and given his slender build. Samanic has yet to log high-level minutes as a pro and finding consistent playing time is the next logical step, which made leaving Barcelona for Olimpija a sound decision with respect to the draft. He’ll be in the lottery mix if all goes well.

Cam would be great! I’ve got Barrett as the 1 guy ahead of him on my board. Assuming traes shot translates, the thing I see us needing going forward is an elite secondary ball handler. Shooting and D are priorities too, but the thing that lets teams really take full advantage of the floor stretching guys like trae create, is a guy to operate in that space. Draymond and Steph are obviously the main example of this kind of relationship, but not the only one. The hornets were at their best a few years ago when Batum played that role for Kemba. Evan Turner had that crazy year in Portland doing the same for Dame. I think Cam or RJ are both guys who could fill that spot at a superstar level

I refuse to get my hopes up for another Luka in the lottery.

DAL about to make a move that should guarantee that we recieve DAL 2019 FRP. Even with the moves, they shouldn't climb too far in the West.

Now we just need for LJames to stay in CLEV and just miss the playoffs for some crazy reason. :D C'mon 2019 draft!

Last year, before the college season started, i said that Ayton will be the best prospect in 2018

This year, i'm going to say that Cam Reddish will be the best prospect in 2019.

Cam reminds me of George Gervin, and his shooting stroke reminds me of Durant. Just a par athlete, but good overall size for an NBA SG/SF. He has a silky smooth playing style and high IQ, but the biggest concern is that he might have a Marvin Williams type of motor.

I said it before, the 2019 draft class looks as bad as the Anthony Bennett draft class, but Cam could be the Oladipo of the group.

Standout skills

+Strong frame and size for a wing at 6’5.5″. Frame and explosive leaping ability help him finish through contact.
+Showed some playmaking equity. Saw the floor well at the tournament in the half-court. Also was able to make simple reads in transition. Flashed some passing equity off movement, which was pleasantly surprising since Grimes did not have that reputation as a prospect coming in.
+Good rebounder for his size, averaged 4.0 rebounds in 23 minutes. Good speed in the open court and passing ability gives him some grab-and-go value.
+Flashed the ability to work out of pick-and-roll, and change speeds off the dribble.
+Did not shoot very efficiently, but has a beautiful one-motion shot with a high release. Shooting reputation and form makes him an easily projectable shooter.
+Strong on-ball defense throughout the tournament, handled change of directions from quicker guards very well.

Areas for improvement

-Would like to see him become more comfortable shooting off movement. Limited possessions for anyone shooting off movement on Team USA throughout the tournament, but did not look comfortable in that area.
-Did not create crazy amounts of separation off the dribble. Would like to see him develop more one-on-one moves when attacking. Mainly just uses an in-and-out movement in high-usage situations and a step-back when attacking close-outs.
-Prone to off-ball mistakes, can be late reacting to a pass when he plays help-side defense. Needs to improve his close-outs.

Cam Reddish got game. Just SOOOO smooth on the court. He reminds me of Michael Redd, maybe without the knockdown shooting at this point.
