Secure the Bagley. Can't go wrong with the best offensive prospect in the draft for a team with terrible offense and a great defensive minded coach who can teach how to play defense to a talented supremely gifted athlete. Bagley has transcendent talent. He's our pick.

Funny I just mentioned you Bill! (Laimbeer). I still love 3 players...

1. Bagley
2. Porter jr.
3. Young

I want 2/3 of those guys...we need another top 7 pick. Make a splash in this draft!

I don't think we keep the pick. But if we do, I predict Jaren Jackson, Jr as our selection.

With Trae Young as a dark horse candidate.

Can’t wait for Bagley III vs Jaren Jackson Jr. in a private Hawks workout!

Also agree on Young. We might shock the world and just take him at #3!

I voted for Young but tough tough choice leaving Bags and Porter on the board.

I'm now convinced Young is Tre Burke 2.0. If he's a Curry clone, it's Seth. #EZPassLane

Also, lookit that. Somebody had the balls to pick Porter at 3. 8-) I'm starting to think he's going 2.

Agree with Porter getting picked higher up after the workouts but make no mistake that Trae is Seth..no way..or Trey Burke. The angles in which he makes difficult passes is incredible. Plus he’s up to like 190 pounds now. He’s gonna be really really good imo.

Porter or Trae at #3 is fine with me, so is Bagley. I said there were 5-7 stars in this draft and I still believe that.

It looks like a top heavy...and deep draft. Good time for the Hawks to be all in to the draft

Completely agree with this. Really the only person I selfishly want to avoid is JJJ and that’s not because he isn’t good it’s just...you guys have any players you just don’t care to watch? I miss the Highlight Factory, I want butts in seats for a team that may lose but will look damn good doing it.

What do you think you'd look to trade the pick for?

I could see them wanting to move down a couple of spots (4-7 possibly) and pick up some other assets (picks).

A later pick in the top-8 and a young prospect on a rookie contract is the ideal. (Think #6 + Jonathan Isaac)

A later pick in the top-5 and a future pick swap. (In case Dallas wants to overpay for Bagley.)

Multiple Future first rounders and prospects. (Both of LA Clippers lottery picks this year plus their pick next season also.)

I don’t mind the first scenario. Isaac is a player for sure that I liked and think will possibly be a star... I’d do this if either Trae or Porter was available at 6. I wouldn’t do it if they were gone.

We would pick Bagley for them at #3 contingent upon the aforementioned players are on the board and Orlando selects one of them for us.

Hawks get: Isaac + Trae or Porter (6th pick)

Magic get: Bagley + #34

I would probably do this.

Probably a better chance to an offer to trade up in for something like that if Doncic is sitting there. With the others, I've never felt a ton of separation almost between like 3 through 9 or 10 or so, though perhaps someone with more specific skills or position could be more highly valued....but so many potentially really solid bigs.

I think the new Magic FO is super high on their first pick Isaac though. I know I am. I was hoping the Suns took him last year.

If the Suns ended at 3 I would have probably wanted Trae. Maybe JJJ.

If Doncic is sitting there then Atlanta should take him. Even if they didn't you take him and then ship him off to highest bidder since many teams will want to move up for him.
