
Braves are still in rebuild mode. Yet, at the beginning of the day, they are in first place.
Their second baseman was the youngest player in the major league. He is small. He's tied for the home run lead.
Then they called up their starting left fielded who is younger than the second baseman. He didn't get to keep
the title of the youngest long because they called up a starting pitcher. When he pitched, the Braves had the
three youngest players in baseball, all on the starting nine.
What can we expect of our Hawks this upcoming season? Like the Braves, they will be very young. We already
have some youngsters coming back and we now have all those draft picks. Last season, we rode our tank into
the sunset. Bud couldn't take the pressure, so he left for greener pastures.
Our new head coach has just come through a rebuild with the Sixers. What can we expect? Dare we hope they
follow the Braves example? I know. Right now, we don't even know what players we will have. Still, we dream...
