Yeah lmao what are the odds Trae becomes a lockdown perimeter defender out of spite?

You guys think at least Kemba-level defense is possible for Trae?

I'm still onboard with selecting and building around Trae. But obviously, we should have gotten more in return.

I'm thinking Ezekial Elliott, the entire Dallas Stars franchise...and Mark Cuban's 1st born.

Luka is the better player...but it's closer than most want to admit. And we're on pace to have the better team overall.

^ I'm glad Hawks fans still have a positive view of the Luka trade, but for the rest of the league, it really looks like it hurts.

Noted. And Luka has been great since the season restarted...but Trae has been phenomenal this season.

Luka looks like a generational talent. Trae appears to be an All NBA caliber player as well.

But only one player is currently playing so it seems more lop sided than it was during the regular season.

^ Well its the winning that's the biggest difference between the two. Luka is younger and has less help and doesn't have Porziņģis.

That's laughable.
You think being 162 DAYS younger makes that much difference?
Please take a really close look at the roster the Hawks started the season with, bearing in mind - NO John Collins for 25 games and give an really honest assesment of the Hawks roster vs Dallas for the regular season prior to the stoppage.
Then come back and let us know.

Maybe having a title-winning coach, Porzingis, and a cache of high-level roleplayers that fit him to a T isn't enough help?

But, more importantly, there's like 45 threads on the general board he can go have this same tired conversation. We weren't even talking about it. Why even bring it up other than to troll?

Dallas has more weapons and established players in the league that know their roles. While I think the Dallas bench is weak they do have players like Seth Curry and Tim Hardaway Jr. who had a career year starting this year but he will soon make $18m+ going forward if he opts to leave Dallas. Having a top 3 Coach helps.

Question: Would you swap, today, Trae Young and Cam Reddish for Luka?

Agreed very much about education. Don’t take it too far though you’ll end up a mediocre writer at best. :-?
