Support for the Dream!

The WNBA playoffs are starting soon and the Atlanta Dream are the #2 seed.

The Dream have a good combination of young and veteran talent.

Yup!
Just trying to show them support and get the awareness out there. Maybe this is the year we win the finals. Since, like most Atlanta teams fall short, and the Dream have been there multiple times.

That's awesome. I've been unable to watch either game but hopefully i'll see the rest. They play great ball.

Hey did you see the WNBA lottery? That's some crazy stuff.

1. Lottery odds are determined by combining teams’ records from the previous two seasons. This should be something the NBA looks into. Makes more sense.
2. Las Vegas actually forfeited a game and finished one game out of the playoffs. Then won the lottery for the second straight year despite 27.6% chance. The house always wins amirite?

Seems like the 20-teens Atlanta Dreams are pretty similar to the 1980's Atlanta Hawks.

So close, but not quite. Always a bridesmaid...never a champion.

I do hope they turn the last few years of impressive play into a title one of these seasons.

On a related note:

I heart Sue Bird so much!!!

Read on Twitter

I can't pinpoint when it happened, but she definitely surpassed Cynthia Cooper as my favorite Women's player. And Bird is likely in the top-5 overall at this point...male or female.

At least Seattle has some pro basketball to support these days.
