Back-to-back like I'm on the cover of Lethal We@pon.
Cavaliers host Hawks in Drew's 2018 debut
Nine days ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers stumbled through an ugly loss to the Atlanta Hawks in their home opener.
It turned out to be the beginning of the end for former coach Tyronn Lue.
Three more losses followed and by Sunday afternoon Lue was shown the door when GM Koby Altman replaced him with Larry Drew.
Drew will coach the winless Cavaliers Tuesday night when the Hawks visit but as for his status, that seemed to remain murky at best.
"I'm not the interim coach," Drew told reporters Monday after practice. "I'm the voice right now."Atlanta followed up its rout in Cleveland with a 111-104 home win over Dallas last Wednesday but enters off consecutive losses to Chicago and Philadelphia. On Monday, the Hawks hung with the 76ers for the first half but were outscored 31-13 in the third quarter and were handed a 113-92 loss.
Rookie Trae Young scored 35 points in the first game in Cleveland but was held to 11 on 5-of-13 shooting Monday.
In his last three games, Young is averaging 13.6 points while shooting 29.7 percent (11 of 37).

I want us to win but I also want us to have a second top-10 pick. I'm torn!!!

It's going to be a season long struggle with wanting to win vs wanting a top 10 pock - get used to it.
I want more games like the 1st half last night, less like the 3rd quarter. Couldn't score and couldn't defend.

Sheesh, burd. When I said I wanted to be talked off the ledge, I didn't mean I wanted to jump.
Agree with your general assessment though.

I really don't like LP substitution for Trae. He doesn't give him enough time to find rythem by getting him out so quickly. He's young and should be playing at least 8/9 minutes in the 1st quarter.

He was giving him that but Trey's been cold for several games.
Looks like LP a lot of times substitutes according to how a player plays at the moment.

Since game #2 I've seen him take him out at the 7 minute mark for the most part. No reason Lin should be getting more mins in the 1st then him unless he's in foul trouble.

Lin was actually playing well and effectively. Finally. So that team was buzzing along. Trae and Lin played together some too. Trae will get his minutes. I'm actually worried that the kid is playing too many minutes. He's a rookie and these are the hardest minutes he'll play at PG.

Maybe, I wish we would see more of him with Kevin on the floor, they both have good vision. Wish I could say the same about tunnel vision baze
