I'm so glad this injury wasn't as bad as it looked.
If we can get a handle on these turnovers, the defensive numbers would not be this bad.

Good to see the coach make a big adjustment after that butt whooping the team took Thursday.
Good to see the team recover and come out strong too.
Sacramento owed us for beating them so soundly last season. And D Fox clearly wanted to dominate his first matchup with Trae.
But we're NOT nearly as bad as we looked against the them.
Nor are we the worst team in the league. Glad to see it.

Good Half.
22 assists, 7 TOs and only 2 missed free throws.
Now, let's not sleepwalk the 3rd quarter.

Here's something:
Hawks didn't get win #3 until game #15 last year, we just won game #3 in 9 games.

I'm glad I was wrong on Huerter spending ample time in the GLeague. I love his game.

Great passing by Trae, but when are we going to see Curry level shooting from TY?

Trae Young had arguably his best game of the season, it's between this and the Cavs explosion. 15 assists, and he was getting to the hole and finishing well. 5 turnovers is ugly on the stat sheet, but two of those were palming violations, which are infractions by the letter of the law, but that's something that's just never called. 9/19 shooting is nice, 2/8 shooting from 3 is less nice, but two of those 3s at the very end were him just trying to put the dagger in with deep bombs. The stat looks worse than it was.
Kevin Huerter looks like a player. He had a slow preseason and a slow start to the reg season but that's understandable after offseason wrist surgery on his shooting hand. These two look like they can be a scary backcourt in the future, but in order to start together they'll need to grow into at least average defenders.
Taurean Prince had a bounceback game but man it really irked me when Trae was at the line ready to shoot a technical foul FT, and Prince went over there and just took the ball from him. Then he proceeded to miss the shot. I get that Trae is a rookie, but that seemed very selfish on Prince's part.

I wanted to trade up and get Mikal Bridges or Miles Bridges, but Huerter is looking like a real baller. I'm glad im wrong about trading up.
