Hawks host Clippers in search of streak-busting win
the Atlanta Hawks own the NBA’s longest losing streak, suffering seven consecutive defeats. However, the Hawks will operate in a more friendly environment this week, as Lloyd Pierce and company will enjoy an extended, four-game homestand beginning with a match-up against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday evening.
The mere presence of a home game does not guarantee anything, though, and the Hawks will have a difficult task in this particular spot. The Clippers enter on the strength of a four-game winning streak in their own right and, while Los Angeles does not necessarily boast elite-level talent, this is a deep squad that is playing quite well on both ends of the floor.
Atlanta will need to put together a strong 48-minute effort to unseat the red-hot Clippers (and old pal Lou Williams) but, at times this season, the Hawks have been able to threaten superior teams. Stay tuned throughout the day for all the latest from State Farm Arena.

Patrick Beverly has a knack for getting under the skin of high profile point guards around the league.
I just hope Trae makes it out in one piece.

How many of these should we expect to see tonight?

I’m going tonight. I’m mixed, I know we need all the losses we can but I really want to see a win. I’m starting to understand why teams try and take shortcuts out of rebuilding and sign overpriced vets for some wins.
Guess I’ll also see what all the fuss is about with “State Farm arena”

First, am I the only one that gets a tiny bit of joy out of Rayford's little hops after his passes and (sometimes) shots? Always funny to me. Hey, this season, gotta take the joy when you can get it.
Second, hope we see a lot of those but I suspect the LAC guards will try very hard to make our guards' lives difficult. Beverly will just because that's who he is. SGA will be motivated to go against Rayford since he was taken ahead of him. Hoping our guys meet the challenge.

With Adams coming up and JC and Anderson active, who goes to Erie?

The Hawks can afford a win here and there and still be a bottom team lol...definitely cheer for a win.
Giant jumbotron at SFA. Fries, hotdog and nachos are just $3 each. Bottomless soda $4 and you get a souvenir cup. Dasani water is $2 while $5 at other arenas. Bring a cap with you though as they keep the caps. You can also get a haircut while watching the game.

This is a game I don’t mind Lin not getting minutes lol...Beverley is dirty.

My guess is Adams will be inactive. Hawks are at home for the week so he gets to practice with the big club while Erie is on a break.

Heh, all the more reason to have Lin getting more minutes than Rayford. Jussayin'.

Beverly is an **** whose shenanigans are going to continue to cause injuries. The NBA should be watching him really closely because it's ridiculous. If he tries that crap on Trae tonight I hope Plumlee gets the call to set a really good pick on him.
He does this against a guy who already took out of the playoffs with a cheap, needless "play".

Trae trying to bounce back so far, as well as the team.

Is it possible for both Trae and Lin to play well? Lin has been putrid out there. At least Heurter has found his shot.
