Which Hawk had the best month to kick off the new year?

In 14 games played, Johnny avg 20 ppg, 9 rpg while shooting 60% from the field and a scorching 52% from 3-pt range.

He also had 6 double doubles, scored a career high 35 points against Chicago and was named to his second straight Rising Stars game for All Star Weekend.

Trae Young

In 14 January Games, Trae avg 19 ppg, 7 apg while shooting 33% from 3-pt range. He shot 44% from the field for January, the best month of his young pro career. He had 4 double doubles, including a career high 10 rebounds on Jan 13 against Milwaukee. Trae was named to his first Rising Stars game and will be named EC Rookie of the Month for the second time this season.

DeAndre Bembry

Bembry avg 10.6 ppg along with 4 rebs and 3 assists in 14 games played. He set a career high in scoring (19) against Mil on 1/4 and tied a career high in assists (7) against Orlando. He also tied a career high with 5 steals against Toronto. This was easily the best, most productive month of his career.

Dewayne Dedmon

In 12 games, Dedmon avg 12 points and 7 rebounds for the month. He tied a career high in scoring (24) against Orlando and tied a career high in steals (4) against Portland. He also set a new career high with 7 assists against Philadelphia.

Shout out to D Bembry making the most of his starting opportunities. This was clearly the best stretch of his young career (production-wise). He likely just cemented himself as a long-term contributor in this league. And it's probably the only shot he'll ever have for recognition.

Collins for sure but love the performances from all of them. Bembry looking like a really nice glue guy and Young emerging as a young stud who might actually get over the hump with his scoring efficiency.

John Collins. But this whole team is getting better each game. Really suprised at Collins and Dedmon's shooting this month. I hope it continues in February.
