3. Is there any reason your coach may not be in place next year?

4. Who are you willing to trade?

1.

1. Lin - 20%
2. Dedmon - 20%
3. Anderson - 0%
4. Dorsey (Traded) - 0%
5. Vince Carter - 20%

2.

Wings with potential in our system with very good talent who fit outside of Kevin. Wing who can shoot lights out and can defend. Length. A star vet player. For me, at center. Ideal for me, Al Horford or Boogie Cousins.

Short term goals, make the playoffs as a mid seed and get to the 2nd round or ECF. I think if we do nothing and just keep what we got. We will win 42-44 games next year but I see 50-52 as a goal if we can upgrade the center position with a star.

3.

None

4.

Bazemore, Plumlee and Prince.
Bazemore because he doesn't really fit but he plays hard, knows how to play a little bit and is a great locker room guy and leader but the he doesn't fit, isn't really any good, and is way overpaid.

Prince is solid and can be good. But he doesn't fit. Needs more usage and we really can't give it to him and he struggles with volume. Gifted scorer and capable defender. Would be a better fit in a slower pace offense.

Plumlee is also someone I want to trade as well but like Baze, who wants the contract but worse, everyone would want a major asset for his contract and it's not worth it.

3. Is there any reason your coach may not be in place next year?

4. Who are you willing to trade?

1. Free Agents:
Dedmon (60%, he likes it here, likes his teammates, Hawks have his early bird rights and capspace to sign him, i think he prefers to start and play meaningful minutes, don't think he'll join a contender for bit minutes), Lin (20% - he maybe looking for a starting role), Vince (90% - Vince can pretty much do whatever he wants, he doesn't seem to be ring chasing, loves teaching his young teammates, and he's close to TNT/NBATV headquarters), Anderson (0% - no available playing time for him here)

2. The team needs and goal is to win the draft lottery and select Zion and get the Mavs pick to be #6 and for Bazemore to not pick up his $19 million option :D .
Seriously though:
Needs - a young backup point guard behind Trae, a young starting Center to pair with Collins (rim protector w/ some offense), a SF with DPS skills (Dribble, Pass, Shoot), Resign Prince and Bembry to team friendly 3 year deals. (RFAs in 2020)
Goals for the 2019/20 season - The playoffs, very possible with how bad the East is and because I think the current young guys on the team seem ahead of schedule this year.

3. None, He's a keeper.

4. Willing to trade:
Capspace - we have quite a bit and I don't think we'll get any high end FAs. So capspace for FUTURE 1sts.
Tauren Prince - (if not signed to early extension) depends on who we draft, depends on what we may get in return, combine him with a future 1st pick (Cavs 1st or OKC 1st) to move up in the draft or trade for a player (Sabonis from Indy for example).
Alex Len - I'd trade him for the right deal, but I have no idea what the return would be. He's making $4 mil.
Kent Bazemore ($19.2 mil)- still a good player but overpaid, he would be an expiring contract now, not interested in using an asset to move him.
Miles Plumlee ($12.4 mil)- expiring contract to any team that'll take him without us giving up anything of value. He's valuable to a team looking for a 1 year deal to stretch or just an expiring in 2020.

For me, Al Horford, Boogie Cousins, Nikola Vucevic and to a lesser degree Marc Gasol or a trade for Andre Drummond. We need a top notch VETERAN 5.

SF is not as important due to the two lottery picks for me and we already have a center prospect in Alpha Kaba. We need a vet like VC but one that actually makes the kids better or easier for them to succeed long term from my prospective. Having Bazemore and Bembry as depth makes the need for a longterm backup vet wing kinda weak. Could we use a top notch veteran 3, yes. But there is none on the trade or open market.

If free agency failed would you trade for Whiteside?

1- Prince #1 because I don't like losing players for nothing. But if he gets a stupid Demarre Carroll offer, I could see us letting him walk.
2- A Rim running big or defensive wing. We need a defensive specialist who is good enough to start.
3- None that I can see.
4- Prince, Dedmon, Len, Bazemore, anyone but Trae. Even Collins if it gets us a superstar. I think Trae is a superstar, but he has another year or two to grow. I think we will be chasing the playoffs next season. Anything might happen at the deadline' but I don't really see us making a big trade next season for a superstar.

This team will still be too young ( two more rookies ) and knowing their true ceiling is not going to happen over night.

Doubtful. Schlenk's state goal is to have 5 players who can dribble, pass and shoot on the floor. He does a couple of things well but he doesn't really tick any of those boxes and will make too much for a role player.

Prince doesn't become eligible for RFA until 2020, meaning no team can offer him.a contract this season.

For some reason I thought Prince was playing for a contract this season. Thanks for the clarification.

He's eligible for an extension from the Hawks if they choose but not until next season 'he's playing for a contract'

Not anymore even give him 10 million. This was his first game back. I've seen him in a ton of games and he is kinda washed. E-Z Pass
