As bad as the Atlanta Hawks have been this season -- and they have been pretty awful at 22-42 -- they have still owned the Miami Heat.
In fact, when the Hawks visit the Heat on Monday night, Atlanta will go for a 4-0 season sweep. If the Hawks get the win, it would be their first 4-0 sweep over the Heat since the 1990-91 season.
Miami, which is just outside Eastern Conference playoff position at 28-34, will likely play Monday without perhaps their two top players in point guard Goran Dragic (calf injury) and center Hassan Whiteside (hip). Both are game-day decisions.
Atlanta, playing without leading star power forward John Collins, still had enough to beat the host Chicago Bulls 123-118 on Sunday.
Collins, who leads the Hawks in scoring (19.5) and rebounds (9.5), has an illness and is likely out for the Heat game, too. He did not travel to Chicago. The good news for the Hawks is that rookie PG Trae Young will return on Monday, and he has been red hot. In his three previous games -- prior to his ejection -- Young averaged a stunning 40.3 points.

Oh hell, looks like the Alex Len show again. If he can put up nimbers like he has the last three games I will be stoked. Maybe this guy is finally waking up

Last night was pretty eye opening to the chemistry the two have developed. I mean I certainly do not expect Alex Len to be an worthwhile contributor to any game but he looked almost to.comfortable last night tearing up the Bulls. A pleasant addition if it continues

Is Dragic back yet? Either way this line seems too high. For the way we have been moving the ball lately and Trae’s heroics, line seems too high.
Trae with a modest 24 and 11 tonight. Scratch that..
50 and 20!!!....he’s mad at the league for the stare and not getting POW to Simmons.

This is a super tough matchup for Trae with John and Taurean out. Heat lineup has a lot of size and athleticism to deal with.
Hope Huerter can play well to take some pressure off.
