Just got the game recently and had a 36 point 24 assist game from Trae. 8 min quarters. This game is eerily close to real life.

Any big numbers by Trae on 2k from any of you? Or Collins?

The 2nd week of MyGm, I put up a 32 assist game with him, lol. I'm in the 2nd season, and 40-20 games are fairly regular, even when simulating.

I broke the game high record for three pointers. 14 of em.

I may consider buying next years.
It's been many years since I last played a basketball game.

For those of us over 35 -- Is NBA 2K the successor to NBA Live, the goto NBA video game of the '90s by EA Sports?

Does NBA live still exist? I know it did like ten years ago. I loved live that’s all I would play, live 93-95 were my favs. Glen Rice is unstoppable in the game. Shaq and Kemp are nuts too.

If live exists I’ll rent it but 2k is above and beyond. It’s pretty solid. But then again I came from double dribble so...

Live was on hiatus but recently back. Two years maybe? They ramped up the graphics and the player animations come close to 2k. 2k needs to bring it next year. Live is right on their heels.

Do it, man. You'll be blown away. I took a few years off and picked up this year's version, it's gotten crazy realistic.

I only play vs online but I have been kicking ass with the Hawks this year. I have been killing folks with Hueter and Alex Len. Len is damn near unstoppable in the paint.

I am a few years *cough* over 35...and yes, NBA 2k is the best game by a country mile out there for NBA. I also played NBA Live back in the 90's but around 99? or so 2k has been the gold standard. I get it every year on playstation.

2k is pretty awesome. For some reason I can’t seem to play well as the Nuggets. I feel like I don’t know who I’m going to down the stretch. I try to iso Joke and spread the offense but still doesn’t end in victory for me.

Nice. I think I’m trying to do too much with Joker. I’m treating him like Magic Johnson on 2k and smaller defenders keep swiping the ball from him. I’m gonna try the handoff to Harris and let the guards take over but Jamal Murray keeps turning it over too.

I’d put him at 86 but I’m a biased Hawks fan. He does deserve an 86 imo though. He will prove it this season.
