You are right on this one. I'll stick to the negative takes.

I removed the thread and changed it to this video.

Summary on Trae Young analysis: The undersized QB: Interesting video. Like John, both Trae and John have a lot to work on. That said, Trae and John are well coached but personnel will be critical for these two. Like so many of these hot take videos, they don't really cover Trae's strengths on defense like his lateral quickness, his communication, and his shot contesting which is decent. Most of Trae's issues is being a complete liability on transition defense as the data reads. I think it's too easy to focus on bad plays and say, see! More times than not, Trae don't make these bad mistakes. His offensive video is pretty accurate. I do have quarrels with his take on Trae's 3 point shooting potential and watching his Luka video, I have to believe bias is strong with this one. That said, it was more accurate. On offense, I always say these youtubers underrate his slashing ability, even if he needs more polished, he's top 5 in the NBA in drives and he really is a lot like Zeke in that regard. His scoring mentality really helps him even if he is undersized. Same for Sexton when he slashes.

Trae's defense has potential to be average just due to his lateral quickness and his willingness to shot contest and stay in front of his man. The idea that guys just power him to the basket is only true if you are talking the Justise Winslows, Bledsoe's and larger PG's who do that to everyone of the world. Trae can stay in front of guys. His off the ball defense has tremendously improve and please note, Trae didn't even play D last year in college. So this is all a learning experience. It will take some time but other than transition defense, I don't see him being a career net negative. He does contest shots at a high frequency and he does have good lateral quickness. He's just don't know what he's doing most of the time and that has improved by leaps and bounds as the season continued. Our issue defensively is a collective issue. Not just on Trae or John.

As far as Steph:
