I imagine Ressler is demanding getting it done first thing this morning.

They absolutely have to keep that 5th spot at all cost. I'm totally down for whatever makes that possible. The team directly below/above us is doing everything they can to get that spot without a peep from Adam Silver. I want that same energy when random Hawks pull up lame to end the season.

Meh...the difference between 5th and 6th is 1.5% to get the No. 1 pick and 4.9% to get a Top 4 pick (7.1% to Top 5 since that's what's protected). So even IF Dallas got up to 5th, the ODDS would still favor the pick conveying to Atlanta as Dallas would have only have a 44.3% chance of being Top 5 and a 55.7% chance of 6-9.

I like good odds. I really like better odds. I figure Ressler's a big fan, as well.

5% difference to get a top 4 pick is significant to me. And no matter how unlikely, the worst 4 teams all have a 50-50 chance of getting a top 4 pick so it's not far fetched. If that happens then the 5th team gets the 5th pick. If that's Dallas I will lose my mind.

Who would've thought Doncic might be out the rest of the year? Didn't see that coming, did anyone else?
