Re: Summer League Thread
I absolutely love ths kid's game. He's strong, quick, smooth and can effect the game on both ends.
He was the best overall SG in 2018 draft in my book. That redshirt year SAS frequently puts their young guards in tends to pay off when guys like Derrick White, D Murray and Lonnie Walker come back as drastically improved sophomores.

I came here to toot some Jamal horn for Walker...... I guess he took care of it himself.
Lonnie looks loveable. Summer league or not, those moves yesterday belonged to somebody who know what they are doing.
The Spurs strike again!
Lonnie +Wendell+Jamal=love stew

Re: Summer League Thread
When the projections had us getting Hunter and Hayes in the draft I was very happy. Then Hayes went at #8 and we ended up with Reddish. After watching last night I'm starting to think that ATL might've made a mistake not taking Hayes at #4. Holy crap did he look amazing in his debut. Very springy, very active, showed a nice IQ with smart cuts without the ball.

Hayes did look great. I just wonder how he'll mesh with Zion (and how he would have paired with Collins).
I think you can make the argument that Jaxson would have (theoretically) made a better long term partner for Trae than J Collins. But he lacks the polish, flash, charm, rebounding ability, scoring chops that Collins possesses.

I think they would be great together. Hayes is a 5 and Collins is a 4. Hayes would be a big help defensively and based on his good FT% I bet he ends up developing a halfway decent 3 point shot.
I think he has every bit as much flash and charm as Collins, but definitely not as polished. He did show some real impressive finishes down low last night though so the polish might not be too far off.
Either way I'm not too bummed cause New Orleans is my other team besides ATL now that they got Lonzo. I'm Lonzo's last remaining stan lol.

Jordan Sibert is looking very good again. He’s earning Adams’ spot.

Kabengele has looked like one of the best big men at SL this year.
Happy for the nephew of Mutombo.
