Not really. Not versatile enough offensively, not great enough defensively to make up for it. If they feel either of those is inaccurate them he can come back. I doubt it though.

I'd welcome Edy Tavares back.

Budenholzer was short-sighted to bring Edy over before he was ready to contribute. (We could have held his rights in perpetuity otherwise.)

And Bud was foolish to cut Edy in favor of a 3rd string PF after a year.

At worst, he'd make a serviceable backup Center in the mold of 76ers big man Boban Marjanovic.

Edy has a new nickname... Sergeant Swat.... hehe....



I could see him being an asset on a title contender.

I had high hopes for him. He just was too raw and slow for Bud

Plumlee's only value is as a trade chip. He has the same value as a bag of chip with the contract attached.

(OK, that isn't quite accurate. A bag of chips that had been largely emptied as Spud devoured the contents in a feeding frenzy of epic proportions leaving nothing but tiny specks of salted potato fragments and the shattered remains of a former fitness guru murmuring over and over to himself, "I couldn't eat just one..."

The chips in the bag would have pushed the value objectively over Plumlee's worth.)

I feel like he'd get exploited too much on defense and slow us down too much on offense.

This defensive sequence was impressive.
