Not really. Not versatile enough offensively, not great enough defensively to make up for it. If they feel either of those is inaccurate them he can come back. I doubt it though.
I'm happy for him though.

Plumlee's only value is as a trade chip. He has the same value as a bag of chip with the contract attached.
(OK, that isn't quite accurate. A bag of chips that had been largely emptied as Spud devoured the contents in a feeding frenzy of epic proportions leaving nothing but tiny specks of salted potato fragments and the shattered remains of a former fitness guru murmuring over and over to himself, "I couldn't eat just one..."
The chips in the bag would have pushed the value objectively over Plumlee's worth.)
