Seth Curry at 4yr/32m is a great contract. Would have loved for us to have gotten him at that price.

Washington trying to have some hope for the upcoming season. I don't believe IT has it in him to play like he did for Boston but I still hoped he wouldn't sign with a team in our division.

Yes, in the middle of some overpaid contract, there are this year some good contracts for sure, and Curry is not the only one.

The big changer could be Danny Green between the guys with good contract. If think he will stay with TOR if Leonard stays, but if he goes, Green could sign elsewhere and he can change a team. He's the guy MIL or PHI would have need, especially PHI after loosing Reddick.

What they get: Jimmy Butler, Meyers Leonard
What they lose: Hassan Whiteside, Josh Richardson, future first-round pick

A lot of money comes off Miami's books next summer, meaning Butler's value is about to be way more than this coming season. He's now the lure in 2020 for more impact players. If Justise Winslow and Bam Adebayo take big steps forward, which they'll both be in a position to do, and first-round pick Tyler Herro looks like a hit, the Heat could finally be on their way off the treadmill of mediocrity. Something had to get the ball rolling back in the right direction, and perhaps Butler will be it.

Though the question has to be asked: How long will Butler remain an elite player?

GRADE: B

Amar’e Stoudemire will work out privately for at least five NBA teams on July 8, according to Jordan Schultz of ESPN.com.

He played overseas last year, but he hasn't been in the league since 2015-16. Stoudemire could never really get it going after his injuries started to pile up in 2012, and he scored just 5.9 points per game in his last NBA season.

Clippers gave up a ton for George, but I guess you could look at it as they landed both George and Kawhi with those 5 1st rounders. OKC got lucky that the Clips were a little desperate. Also, if Beverley starts, how is anyone going to score against that group. Defenders all around...
