The Nets are definitely going to be must watch TV this year if Kyrie comes back. Like one of those videos where the cars try going up an icy hill and they slide backwards down the hill and slowly plow into all the cars.

Brad Townsend: Van Gundy says he heard NBA is going to go to twice-a-day testing. Had not heard that before.

I really will hate to see Miami acquire Beal.

______

The Miami Heat's interest level in Bradley Beal is reportedly "high" if the guard becomes available via trade, reports Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Beal hasn't openly requested a trade, but the Wizards are 2-9 this season while his NBA-leading 35 points a game go wasted, making it hard to imagine the thought hasn't crossed his mind. He's 27-years-old and is in the prime of his career, and should GM Tommy Sheppard put him on the trade market, a handful of teams will be blowing up his phone with their best offers, and Pat Riley will reportedly be one of them as he looks to lead Miami back to the Finals.

According to Jodie Meeks Brooklyn needs him.

Meeks worked out in Los Angeles at the Mamba Academy with several Brooklyn Nets players in November, including Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and DeAndre Jordan. The former Kentucky Wildcat also trained with Chris Brickley in New York during the fall. “They need to get me in Brooklyn,” Meeks told HoopsHype. “They need some shooting.”

With several games postponed and fewer players available due to the league’s health and safety protocols, 10-year NBA veteran Jodie Meeks hopes to earn a roster spot this season. “I haven’t retired, and I’m not looking to retire,” Meeks told HoopsHype. “I’m still healthy, and I’m only 33. The way my game is, it’s not like I’m super athletic running and jumping like Russell Westbrook. I’m strictly shooting and playing defense. I could still move. I could still play for a while. I just need an opportunity.”

I just saw this. The young man fell in the draft because of concerns over his attitude and off court concerns. He's showing that those concerns were absolutely valid. :nonono: Such a shame.

He can't come here. The culture and structure are'nt strong enough to keep him in line. But I'm sure he'll get other opportunities.

GSW, Miami, Toronto all seem like solid options. I'd bet Boston jumps in to take a flyer on him as well.

I think they'll beat the bucks in the playoffs, who else will beat Nets? Maybe Heat? (from East)

Indiana and their health issues.

MYLES TURNERC, INDIANA PACERS

Myles Turner has been diagnosed with a "slight fracture" in his right hand, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Turner will be re-evaluated "in the coming days," at which time a decision will presumably be made whether or not he'll require surgery. In the meantime, deep-league fantasy managers should try to grab Goga Bitadze as a speculative source of defensive stats. There's no replacing the league-leading shot blocker, of course, and the Pacers will likely stay small in Turner's absence with Doug McDermott, Justin Holiday and T.J. McConnell taking on outsized roles and many more minutes at center for Domantas Sabonis.

Washington is expected to check in on Len if he does clear waivers, according to someone familiar with their plans. It is unclear how strong their interest would be, as they are exploring several options.

Marc Stein: The NBA will soon be up to nine teams allowing reduced crowds with Atlanta and Miami planning to start admitting fans this week, Indiana starting last week and Memphis allowing floor-seat and suite-ticket holders. Cleveland, Houston, New Orleans, Orlando and Utah are the others

Very impressive.
I watched the game last night and Houston has good chemistry now. It's nice to see after the team dealing with Harden.

I'm starting to wonder if Budenholzer will be Milwaukee's coach next season without a Finals appearance...
