Nice start to the game.
Trae Young is feeling confident.

FWIW,

I really like this starting 5 for the time being.

Core 5 seals the deal.

Defense won this game. Cam with the steal and slam, followed by Trae, Our Allstar with the strip on Bam.

Whatever Pierce said in the Core 5 meeting worked.
Hunter with the silky smooth 3 for the tie, WOW!

After watching this whole game, through all four quarters, I just kept thinking how epically stupid Jay Williams is...

So nice to see the core all healthy and playing well together. Cant wait to see how things play out once Capela and Skal come into the mix. Also very happy with the progress of Cam. He was thrown into the fire to begin the season with all of the injuries etc. and in a perfect world he would have had some more time to learn, but instead he had to just learn on the fly. Now that he has had that time to adjust to the nba he is really starting to come into form. We might not be winning a championship this year but i believe that next year should be the beginning of something special for Atl!

This feels like one of those games we would've lost earlier in the season, especially after Bam scored that and-1 to put them up 124-119 with less than two mins left. This team is growing and learning how to win.

Trae absolutely took over and single handedly kept us in the game while the defense was leaking in the 4th quarter. He even made the huge defensive stop by stripping Bam under the basket in crunch time. An absolute treat to watch.

We all know how good Trae is, but my main takeaway from this game is how aggressive and confident Cam Reddish looked. He didn't hesitate on any of his looks, and was taking it to the hole with aggression when the opportunities arose. His steal and score off Dragic was the play of the game. The game looks to be slowing down for him.

DeAndre’ Bembry (abdominal pain) is doubtful for Saturday against the Mavs.

He was technically a DNP-CD on Thursday, but perhaps he was dealing with this injury. With him out and De'Andre Hunter (personal) also out, Cam Reddish's minutes should be there while Brandon Goodwin could see minutes in the teens.

Most satisfying win of the season. I want all the smoke with the Heat. It'll be fun to knock these guys down a peg in the future.
