I've noticed the media and internet has really been hyping up Nesmith the last two week.

At the start of the season he was ranked 25 on alot of boards, but now alot have him as a late lottery pick.

I have to admit, that I'm starting to buy the hype on Nesmith and now I can easily see him as a 20ppg scorer 4-5 years down the line.

Most say he is Buddy, a few say he could be Klay or Booker. I don't know if he is a later lottery all star like Klay and Booker, but the more I watch him, the more i love his Steve Nash, Ray Allen-ish shooting mechanics.

I have Nesmith ranked as the 2nd best SG behind Edwards.

I know the Hawks don't need a SG right now, but Nesmith skill set might be too hard to pass up.

If Wise and Kong are not around at #6, I think I would actually take Nesmith at #6 (or trade back a few spots, then take Nesmith)

Worse version of Cam Johnson. Benefiting from weak draft.

20yr Cam Johnson - 4.7ppg, 37% 3pt, 0.1 steals

20yr Aaron Nesmith - 24.1ppg, 53% 3pt, 1.5 steals

He will be a late first round pick but then 4-5 years from now, when he is signing a max extension, people are going to be saying "how did this guys drop so low in the 2019 draft when he had such great shooting and play making in college?!"

I have also said we should take him at 10. He is a great shooter, and you cant enough shooting. He is also very competitive. After Zion, Ja and RJ, it's a complete crapshoot. He is one of the few guys that has a rock solid bankable skill, he can shoot the rock.

I don't think the Hawks should take Hero at 10, but I do think the Hawks should trade down with Boston or the Nets and get multiple picks, then pick Hero. Draft Bol at #10 then trade #8 to Boston, then pick up Hero at #14.

I called Herro a max contract even before he got drafted. Nesmith looks like the real deal and I like him just as much as I like Herro back in UK.
