Welcome to Atlanta (2 way) Nathan Knight

Center. 6'10" 20 years old. Nathan Knight is under contract. He's a Hawk. New rules for this shortened Covid19 season. The players on the 2 way contract may now play a lot more and still retain their 2 way contract. NK and our 2nd round pick are our 2way contracts.
Season starts this month with pre season just around the corner. I see where Atlanta already has three players on the injured list. Perhaps we are destined to see our players on their 2 way deals play after all.
So good to be deep enough for this. Short training camp, 4 pre season games, then away we go!!

Enjoyed these Spurs podcasters' pre-draft look at NK. Had watched the clips from the OK/W&M game, and didn't come away terribly impressed though I did see enough to think there's potential there. But then, I think I gained a wider view from what these guys said and showed. It is true that he's right-hand dominant, but otoh, just the mere fact that a 6-10 guy has some plus-handles and the IQ to see teammates' movement and make the backdoor pass with some consistency is something to build on. If he can lift that 3pt% from 30% to 35%--and that doesn't seem too much to expect given his FT% (77%)--he's going to make someone's 15-man roster eventually.

Apparently, he has taken Skal's spot on the roster. Hope he's as good as he shows in the videos.
GO ATL HAWKS !! Tomorrow, it begins!

Sneaked this one in. Scarcely got any mention. Then, last night, it happened. Atlanta sent in this
undrafted center. He sure showed off, didn't he!

It sure took a while to get KN in a game and he have meaningful minutes.
He sure looked like a keeper. Good center prospect. No Atlanta G league
this winter so he's staying right here.

He continues to impress. Looks more and more like a lottery pick if they were
to have a do over. Travis hits another homer!
How did he slip thru and down to us? Someone went to sleep on him.

Personal life
Knight is the youngest of four children born to Joslyn McGriff.[12] In December 2008, Knight's 18-year-old sister Yeisha Howard was stabbed to death in Syracuse. According to the prosecutor, it was part of a longstanding feud, and the perpetrator of the attack was sentenced to seven years in prison.
