I’m sorry we aren’t good enough to not play with urgency. Young teams (PUN INTENDED) need to learn to play hard for 48. We can’t turn it on in spurts.

Great game kudos to John Collins and Huerter but this is a win we have to get on our home floor against a crap team. Yes, by all accounts and stats we lost to a garbage team. We better get them on their floor next week.

Just like the hawks to give a struggling team confidence and lose.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

this game exposed what a horsecrap coach Pierce is. Trae getting double teamed at full court from minute one yet ZERO ADJUSTMENTS are made. ZERO! I put part of this on Trae as well. If you're getting shadowed off the ball you need to make your defender WORK. If he wants to face guard you you make him run for his life on every possession. take him baseline 3x during a single shot clock. Run him through screen after screen after screen. All Trae did all night was just stand there outside the 3pt line making no effort to get open. Every once in a while he would make a backdoor cut which is idiotic because what exactly is he going to do with the ball on the baseline? But, Trae made no effort and seemingly received no coaching on how to get open.

Then, to make matters worse the whole game Im saying why not do the same thing to Luka. Sure he's taller, but lets at least see what happens if we try to take the ball out of his hands. Then finally with 3 minutes left in the game Pierce tries this and it actually works! gets it all the way down to 3. So what does Pierce do down 3? He abandons that strategy and single covers Luka with Solomon Hill on the next possession. Takes Luka about 2 seconds to blow by Hill and get a layup which leaves KP open on the weakside for an easy put back.

pierce is a bum. I've seen enough. He needs to go. He is hurting the development of this team and the young players. All he does is roll the ball out and say here ya go have fun.

Cam Reddish is not a starting caliber NBA player right now.

How long before that changes?

Coach Pierce won't be the future but I expect him to the Coach for another two seasons. He's a likeable person, but like you pointed out, he's not the guy we need leading this team.

I have pretty much given up on Reddish. He has the talent but he he doesn't have the mental fire to be any better than we've seen.

Tomorrow will be even more difficult when we host Utah.

Cam is inconsistent but I’m still praying that is from being young. Just a couple games ago he was lighting up Durant and Lebron a bit, I thought his confidence would go up from there.

Still a young guy and the defense is too darn good to be so worried about him. He was probably one of the reasons we lost but not the only by any means. We plug on.

Please give reason(s) to keep Pierce after this season....

I don't see it. Players play, but coach got to bring something

I do have Cam on my fanstasy team. I also had hopes that he'll roll without Hunter. 16 team deep cat league. Barely holding on to him, about to drop.

Just hoping he would turn things around just like last couple of weeks of the last year. You guys think it's ok or get even worse when bogdan starts playing?
2023 Clippers W/L Count (51-31)
(Russ at bench 42-15)
without PG13 3-3
Without Kawhi 7-4
Without Russ 6-6

In theory, when everyone is healthy, Cam Rubbish is our backup SF at this point. (He'd already been benched for Bogdonavic before the injury.)

Realistically, if Bogdan, Hunter and Huerter are all healthy, Cam is behind each of them in the rotation and will likely be treated as a defensive specialist until his shot comes back.

I'd move on, Captain...he might hurt you on those slow nights of games.

There should be a warning on the video. I don't want my kids to see something so grotesque.
