What could help winning second night of back-to-back would be getting everybody back in the roster. Without Hunter and Bogdanovic, they will be lucky to win 1 out of 8.

Sorry to tell you that it’s not all about the injuries and it’s all about Lloyd and his lack of ...everything.

Re: 2nd half schedule drop
The real saving grace for us in the 2nd half of the season:
EVERYONE will have a jacked up schedule. So we should be able to steal a few games against superior teams. The same way we caught Boston last night and caught Denver last week both here in Atlanta.
It'll take some serious management of players and minutes. Letting some rotation players skip a road game or two. Benching healthy players against good teams so we can be fresh and destroy the easier competition the following night.
It'll be interesting to see if Lloyd can manage it...or if he'll even be around.

Such a weird year.

Re: 2nd half schedule drop
This Back to back at the end of a road trip is... couldn't they work the schedule to at least set Back to back only when you're at home ? I know it's a complex schedule, but I'm sure they was a solution to avoid a Back to back in a 8 games road trip.
That said, I saw on Tankathon.com that ATL has the 22th hardest remaining schedule (.491 on average), and some teams fighting for a playoffs spot have much harder schedule : ORL have 3rd with .520, NYK 5th with 0.515, CHI 6th with .511 and TOR 8th with .508
Only PHI and MIA in the East have easier schedule than ATL

Re: 2nd half schedule drop
So, with a larger sample size...do we now believe that 8 game winning streakl was fool's gold?
Dumb luck?
A fluke?
A break in the schedule?
Or a glimpse at how good we can be long term?

I think the Hawks are a team that can play with and beat 85% of the teams in the NBA but not have wide margins so if they are not on their game they can also be beat by many as well.
I think the coaches should look at the team in tiers and try to nail down some rotations based on chemistry.
Tier 1- Trae, Collins, and Cap. Get them 30-35 minutes a night.
Tier 2- Gallo, Brog, and Huerter. Get them 23-28 minutes a night.
Tier 3- Hunter, Lou, Snell, and Reddish. Get their minutes based on health, need and production.
Tier 4- Everyone else
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point.

Re: 2nd half schedule drop
After today's game, the toughest part is the 5 games in the next 7 days 4/20-4/26, we begin and end that 1st week with back to backs, and in both cases we play at home then have to travel for the 2nd game.
After that stretch it's 6 games in 9 days (4/28-5/6) with one back to back.
Hopefully we'll be getting players back from injury.

They need to take care of direct opponent games, like NYK, MIA... more than ORL. A loss Vs MIA or NYK is a double loss, giving them one game on record difference, while it's only a 0.5 game difference if you loose Vs ORL
These two games are the ones we need to win the most

Hawks streaking into the postseason
This seems like strong incentive to play starters Sunday in an effort to secure the #4 seed.
