This was almost a must win. These kind of wins will hopefully become contagious.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

The salt in the Raptors game thread is glorious. Lots of complaining about Trae foul baiting, but not a single comment about Lowry getting shot by a sniper twice in the game. Love the Raptors hypocrisy. Is there a more unlikeable fan base on this board?

This was strange win, but great one.
They lost all the lead they had, got to comeback and win it.

And it's certainly the first win where they got dominated with Capela. ATL finished with -23 with Capela and +24 without him
Even in losses, it never happened I think.
And in positive with Rondo was good thing too.

And Snell... I admit I was regretting they traded Dedmon (not getting Snell but loosing Dedmon as we need a backup C) but he's really on fire behind the arc.

And fans aren't giving Cint Cepela the respect he deserves as a defender..

No one who posts here watches the Hawks except us. They just post non stop about how much we suck and then go to the trades board and post about how much they want our players. Noting ironic about that right?

Yup I was thinking of all the Wolves trade proposals that had Capela +Hunter +picks going to them for KAT and thinking, I wouldn’t trade Capela straight up for KAT. I dunno maybe it’s crazy but Capela is a true physical player and rugged, not sure if KAT could hang. Capela is playing nutty ball this year. He’s probably our MVP as far as keeping us in games with rebounding and defense as well as second chance points.

Just said it some weeks ago, ATL defense is nothing without Capela, or was and it's improving. I thought last season after the trade he would have bring more on offense and less than defense, but the balanced between both is perfect, he can adjust on what's needed.
Very impressive and clearly, if one Hawk had to be All-Star this year, it's him.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
